As you must be knowing that both men and women can apply for CDS vacancies and also for OTA in CDS recruitment. This OTA is also called Short Service Commission and its full name is officers training academy.

The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for this for a woman is that the women should have attained 19 years old before writing the exam and cannot be more than 25 years while appearing for the exam. And also the candidate must have attained the height of 148 cm.

Yes you can repeat class 12th with different stream but it is not advisable to do so as it will hamper your career. Repeating any class makes you look less serious and careless while making career choices.

A student must have following degree for appearing for cds afa exam:

Bachelor of Engineering or Graduation (with Physics and Mathematics at Class 12)

Sorry to say but for Indian naval Academy position via CDS examination, you are not eligible because the the minimum age required for applying in CDS Indian naval Academy is 19 years and the maximum age is 22 years. But as you said that your birth date is 1st February 1997 it means you have exceed the age of 22 years so it is not possible for you to take CDS exam for Indian naval Academy. But there are still chances and hope for you as you can apply for officers training academy because the maximum age required in this is 25 years. Besides this, you must be unmarried for being eligible for this position. There are various physical test also conducted which you have to pass in order to get selected for CDS like you have to run  2to 4 km in 15 minutes. You have also to show pushups and set UPS with a minimum of 20 each. You are also required to climb rope which is 3 to 4 meters high.

In CDS exam also known as Combined Defence Services,the candidates have to fulfill very varied parameters of eligibility criteria which includes nationality, age ,educational qualification ,marital status and physical conditions.
