I want to pass my 12th now. my age is 38.
Hello Dear,
Learning is a continuous process you can pass class 12 through various ways but best ways is to appear through National Open Schooling (NIOS) for Senior Secondary Course. You have to choose five subjects of any combination and English as one of the subjects. Examinations are conducted like normal board exams. Some study centres conduct regular classes for NIOS students for little fee. You will have to submit assignments which are evaluated and marks are assigned to it. Certificates form NIOS are valid in all over India.
Good Luck
which is the best graduate course that helps for upsc preparation is commerce and accountancy a good optional for upsc
The eligibility criteria for UPSC is passed Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university, hence there is no restriction in terms of belonging to any specific stream, people from various backgrounds such as Engineering, Medical, Commerce etc appear for UPSC CSE and qualify it as well, also you can have commerce and accountancy as your optional subject, so you can go ahead with this option, also when it comes to UPSC it's good to have a back up plan as well, and your course study will balance the both.

I only had economics in my 12 but not commerce and accountancy or maths am I eligible for ba in economics in Loyola Chennai 2020
Hello,
The eligibility criteria to get admission in Loyola College, Chennai in BA Economics is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with Commerce/Business Studies, Economics, Accountancy and any other subject from a recognized board or university. You cannot get admission as you haven't fulfilled the eligibility criteria.
Is commerce and accountancy good to choose as optional for UPSC mains? Or will it be too technical to handle? (I am doing B.com Hons.)
When it comes to choosing optional, the best thing is to go for the subject of your graduation because of two reasons, first the syllabus of optional in UPSC is nothing short of graduation level, and secondly, you'll be acquainted with the syllabus already, so there will be less of a burden, and you don't have to worry about choosing Accountancy and Commerce as a subject, many people with Mathematics as optional too have qualified, so there's no problem as such, just go through previous year paper, solve mock tests on a daily basis, this too should be followed firmly.

Mention your stream to get a detailed information. Still I'll give you some blur idea. So if you belong to science stream in your 10+2, then you've options to do Engineering (CS, IT, EXTC, CIVIL, ETRX, etc) , Medical (MBBS BDS BHMS BAMS BPT etc) , BSC or bachelor's in Physics or chemistry or maths or biology. If you belong to commerce stream, then you have options like doing B.Com. , Law. Usually, only Graduates are allowed to pursue L.L.B, C.A. (Chartered Accountancy), B.B.A, Bachelor of Economics, C.S. Hospitality Diploma courses, Animation and Multimedia Courses, etc. If you are from ARTS then you've options like bachelor of arts, event management, hotel management, fashion designing, etc.
