After Phase 2 counselling, I am being offered Computer Science and Communication Engineer at KIIT. Is it a good stream and should I accept it? I am getting CSE at SRM KTR campus. Which one I should accept?
Hi aspirants
KIIT college is one of the famous college for its good infrastructure and placements. according to careers360 KIIT college got 4.2 rating out of 5 and KIIT awarded A grade from NAAC.
SRM college is also famous college for its good placements and infrastructure. according to career360 it got 4.1 rating out of 5 and SRM awarded A++ grade from NAAC.
both college are good with almost equal rating. you can choose based on your convenience and you won't have any regrets for choosing any of these.

what are the government jobs that are available for a electronic and communication engineer in Kerala?
Hey there
Being an ECE engineer you have plenty of options you can sit for almost all graduation level exams like STATE PCS, state electricity board, etc. Also you can sit for central exams like GATE, UGC NET, SSC CGL, BANK PO etc. You can go for state police jobs or central defence exams like AFCAT, CDS etc.
Good luck
which one is good for technical entry in army "information annd technology" or "electronic and communication"?
Both the fields are really good and are required by army generals and teams as well of course. But if you had to choose one, then as per the future requirement and in demand source, Information Technology tops it since its a software based stream, it can be learnt and used to input various information which investigators use.. Lots of subjects like Ethical Hacking are also taught in the syllabus.
Thank you. Best wishes.
I am studying in class xii and I want to be a electronic and communication engineer.so what should I do next? To reach my destiny. step by step..pls help..
Hey Amar
To be an Electronic and Communication Engineer you must pursue Engineering (BTech/BE) in Electrical and Electronics or Electrical and Communication Engineering. For that you must choose an Engineering college and prepare for that simultaneously with your 10+2. Some of the exams and colleges for Engineering courses are :
- JEE Mains and Advanced: IITs, NITs, DTU, GGSIPU, IISc, IIST, IIITs
- BITSAT: BITS Pilani, Pilani, Hyderabad, Goa
- VITEEE: VIT, Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal
- SRMJEE: SRM University
- UPSEE: Colleges affiliated to AKTU, Uttar Pradesh
Prepare consistently for one of the examination and secure admission in of the colleges, study your course and score good in academics in your 4 year BTech. Don't forget to develop skills with your academics, like Coding, Personality Development and build a good profile with trainings/internships.
Once you reach end of your BTech you can either go for highers studies in the field (MS/MTech/PhD) or get a placement (On/off Campus) and work in the ECE domain. For further doubts, ask us.
I want to be isro scientist pls help
There can be many ways through which uou can get into isro as a scientists. Few are listed below:-
- To become a scientist at ISRO one first needs to have opted Math and Physics as his subjects at 10+2 level and have a thorough basic knowledge of these subjects.
- Getting admission in IIST (Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology) can be the easiest ticket to get absorbed in ISRO as a scientist/engineer.
- ISRO often picks up graduates and post-graduate engineers from IITs, NITs and other reputed government and private institutions. So it is better to have a degree in a course that is more likely to be shortlisted for the consideration of such jobs such as B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Radio Engineering, and Engineering Physics. There is sometimes a requirement of electronic engineers and developers as well. There are sometimes vacancies for Civil Engineers as well.
- After completing B.Tech from any college, an examination namely ICRB (centralized Recruitment Bangalore) is conducted by ISRO and individuals are tested as per their respective branches of engineering and after clearing the interview, one can get appointed as a scientist or an engineer at ISRO. Candidates must have a minimum aggregate percentage of 65% and above in B.tech in their respective relevant streams.
- After the completion of M.Tech or D. in trades such as Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing, Instrumentation, applied Mathematics, Geophysics, Geography or any other equivalent degree in the field of Physics or Mathematics one can apply directly for the job of a scientist at ISRO. The selection consists of written exam and Interview and after clearing these sages scientist/Engineer position can be obtained in ISRO.
- One can get selected as the junior research fellow in ISRO; by this, they can get to research as scientists and engineers. The screening process for the selection of Scientist in such an organization is very tough and requires the best of knowledge, wits and a very presentable and calm attitude.

Can a student got good Carrier if he leave 2year b.tech course due to they have no interest but after what can he do or read for their good
hey dear, there can't be a legit answer for this question.Success only depends upon knowing your worth for a one specific task or tasks. So if a student finds his passion for some other thing and exels on it for long time than only he can get success.Whereas, a person leaving btech just because he dosen't like it anymore and wants to go back and sit at home wouldn't work for achieving a good career.
Do PSUs consider each semester percentage or overall percentage of four years?
Hello
There are different criteria for different PSU's.
Each psu is having its own criteria for percentage.some ask for 65% and some 60%.
Also few psu's give relaxtion category wise.
And psu calculate your marks as total marks from semester 1 till semester 8 divide it by total marks.
Not as provided by university criteria of 25,50,75,100% in 1,2,3,4th year respectively
Most of the PSUs require atleast 60% of overall engg. aggregate.
But there are also few top PSUs who require 65+% engg. aggregate. There are only 2–3 PSUs which accept 55% aggregate.
