What are the difference between electronic engineering and electronic and communication engineering?
The primary focus in both are different in electronics its circuit design , circuit behaviour , circuit analysis etc......whereas in ece its signal processing and communication field. Electronics is a broad field whereas ece is broad field but focussed on only one field of electronics both needs btech for 4 yrs.

No, not at all ,percentage is in your mind to feel low and high. Do your work skillful ,you will rise and rise high.A communication engineer can do much better if your concept is clear to solve problems not high percentage.ok

Does ECE has a good scope in future
ECE branch mainly deals with analog transmission, basic electronics, solid state devices, microprocessors, digital and analog communication, analog integrated circuits, satellite communication, microwave engineering, antennae and wave progression. It also deals with the manufacturing of electronic devices, circuits, and communications equipment.
In ECE, the scope to land into government jobs is great. An electronics engineer can find a job in Central Government, State Governments and their sponsored corporations, private industries dealing in manufacture, sales and services of electronics consumer goods and appliances.

Salary varies according to companies. It also depends on the college from where you pursue the cousre like salary package offered to an IIT graduate is high, and on your academic performance as well.
