Hi Aspirant,
Yes, you can pursue BCA after 10+2 from Humanities stream. Most of the colleges eligibility criteria suggests that candidates who wish to take admission in BCA programme must have completed 10+2 in any stream from any recognized board. Only sometimes the BCA eligibility varies depending upon various colleges and universities. There are lots of colleges in Kerala you can go for pursuing BCA.

is BCA is also known as bsc in computer application??
Nope! BCA is known as the Bachelors in Computer Application. It is a professional course for students who want to go for IT jobs but won't want to take admission in engineering or not eligible for engineering. The BCA course gives a strong base towards the Data Management, web development, Software development etc. You can expect job after BCA but to have a prosperous career ahead and to stand out of the crowd its always expected that you should appear for MCA course.
Now BSc Computer Application is also a three year course UG degree as BCA but in BSc Computer Application you will not get the exposure as you will get in BCA. For most of the colleges it has a lot of differences. So if you want to go for a course with more probability of getting job then I would recommend you to go for BCA rather than BSc Computer Application.

hi,
see the general eligibility criteria for b.sc in computer science is candidates must complete 12th course with mathematics and English as a mandatory subject from a recognized education board.
however since you are from arts group and did not have mathematics in 12th course, you may not eligible for admission to b.sc course in computer science.
however you may try for BCA (bachelor in computer application )course, bca course syllabus includes computer programming, computer architecture, basics of algorithm, web development etc. in some of the institute admission to bca course is applicable to students from any branch of 12th course.
list of bca college name for non MATH students is as follows:

after 12th pass which line is good computer application or computer science
Hello aspirant,
Computer Applications is a course in which students study how to operate a computer. The course typically lets students learn about the basic features and functions of using a computer, file management, Microsoft software, emails, internet research, office technologies, and also information systems technology for future IT careers. This course is very well structured for aspirants who are not technologically savvy, and has much less information on computer.
Computer Science is typically a college degree course, in which aspirants learn and study about programming, informatics, logic, mathematics modeling, statistical analysis, software development, coding, UX, and gaming systems. This course is more appropriate for intermediate and advance computer users, or those students who wants to seek more detailed training on the software elements of computer usages.
Either of these two fantastic courses increases the skills set of a student, and advances their current positions.
Hope this helps,
All the Best!!
B.C.A Course In Patna university is name as which one Bsc Computer application or B.A computer application
See BCA is professional course which is curriculum wise different from BA Computer Application or BSC Computer Application. Patna University offers both the courses i.e., BA and BSc (Hons) in Computer Application. But you should remember that there is a wide deviation in curriculum. Although as you know BCA is a professional course i.e., this course avails you more scope towards job oriented infrastructure but BA/BSC Course will not be that much of job oriented. But contrary to this it is also true that MCA is a must for a better career perspective. So I would say if you choose between BA/BSc COMPUTER APPLICATION then go for BSc COMPUTER APPLICATION as it will make you eligible for the MCA course. So you should go for BSc rather than BA.
