1 DJ sanghvi college of engineering- this college is granted autonomous status effective from academic year 2019-20 . Placement are great , lot of industry level come for campus , campus life are great . Faculty are best , they have good alumni.

2 Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management - the college are good reputed . It is an ISO 9001:2015 certified institution and NAAC  accredited with A grade . The NIRF  ranked it 119 among engineering college in 2021 . They have internships opportunities.  The college have above average placement.

3 KJ somaiya institute of engineering and information technology- this college is an autonomous institute.  In Dec 2018 ,KJSIEIT was accredited by NBA for ug programs for 3 year . They have lot of rankings and achievements.  They provide appropriate carrer opportunities to the students,  the training and placement cell are good for students , they interacts continously with different industries and training organizations.  They have top recruiters.

4 Ramrao adik institute of tech - the institution have been given accredited by NAA grade A . They ranked by NIRF in 2021 is 201. They have good internships opportunities.  Placement and campus are good .

5 vivekanand education society's institute of technology- institute are good and reputed,  they have lot of rankings and achievements.  Placement are good. They have loan and scholarships provision , campus life are good. Overall this college is good .

6 Thadomal sahani engineering college- this is the first and oldest private engineering institution affiliated with university of Mumbai.  In 2009 ,TSEC was ranked #28th in a list  of top 50 private engineering college of India by mint . Placement are good  in this college . They are alumni and good faculty.

Hi, deciding what branch you should choose is something that you will have to do it alone. Subjects and some basic knowledge on every branch will be given so you can decide what is the best fit for you.

Computer engineering had core networking subjects which IT did not have. Computer engineering had additional microprocessors; IT just had a part of it. Whereas IT had accounts (yes, we were pretty annoyed to study accounts in engineering) as a subject which computer did not have.

To be honest you will be getting same job profiles. As of now there is no company demanding exclusive IT for a job and same goes for computers.

Computer Science Engineering ( CSE ) - Subjects mostly related to Computer/Software. So, you need to study subjects of one particular domain only. More number of jobs in Private Sector but lesser in Govt. sector, as compared to EXTC.

Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering ( EXTC ) - subjects related to three domains, namely Electronics, Communication & IT. So, syllabus is vast. - Lesser no. of jobs in private sector, specifically Core jobs (Electronic and Telecommunication jobs). However, as you studied IT in your course, there are various IT companies which offer jobs to ECE people along with CSE and IT people. In Govt sector, EXTC has more jobs as compared to CSE.

Dy patil college of engineering is a good college for computer engineering.Talking about the faculty the teachers are good and punctual .They are very helpful to the students.The campus of college is one of the best in pune. It is well maintained.The building are well maintained too.Talking about the placement the placements of college is better for CS than other branches.The highest Package for a CS was 18 LPA.Average package is around 3.5 to 5 LPA.

Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Wipro, BSNL, Atos Syntel, Infosys, Hyundai, Tata Motors, Tata Technologies, LnT INFOTECH, Cognizant.

Students of D.Y Patil college are also given industrial exposure through various seminars and workshops.
