The major difference between computer science and information technology courses is that computer science course deals only with the software programs and software systems of the computer where as information technology deals with the software system and hardware system of computers. In comparison between computer science and information technology, Information Technology has much wide and depth studies. My Gate (2022) score is 28 out of 100 and 389 out of 1000 in Computer Science and Information Technology stream with EWS category. Currently i am 3rd year btech student. Will I get NIT with CSE/IT or equivalent branch ?
