Hello aspirant,
The primary undergraduate engineering program that students can enroll in after completing their coursework is the B.Tech. The majority of top government-funded B.Tech institutions that offer computer science courses are IITs and NITs. IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, and IIT Bombay are the three most prestigious IITs. NIT Trichy, NIT Karnataka, and NIT Rourkela are the three most prestigious NITs. For B.Tech Computer Science programs at IITs, the first-year tuition costs range from INR 2,000,000 to INR 2,50,000. Private college tuition is significantly more.
Thank you
Hope it helps you
Dear candidate,
After plus two results you will get admission for computer engineering diploma depending on States. Counselling usually takes place june-Aug 2025.
All the best!!!
Admission for computer engineering diploma
Hello there,
Yes, many schools and junior colleges offer Humanities (Arts) stream with the combination of Economics, Geography, Computer Science, and Sociology .
This subject combo is usually available in:
CBSE and ISC schools with Humanities/Arts stream
State board junior colleges (like in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, etc.)
Private colleges that allow flexible subject groupings
How to find this combination:
Look for colleges or schools that offer custom subject choices under Humanities.
Many colleges now allow choosing Computer Science as a 5th optional subject in Arts.
You can also consider schools/colleges with integrated or international curriculum (like IB or Cambridge), where such combinations are more flexible.
Tip: Always confirm with the college during admission as availability can vary by batch and region.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.
Hello,
Whether you will be allowed to have this subject combination in your 11th and 12th will depend on the board you are studying in and also on the school. CBSE allows students to choose the subjects of their choice (English is compulsory). You must ask your school authority if they are willing to provide you this combination. Economics, Geography, Computer Science and Sociology are all excellent subjects.
Hope this helps. All the best!
Hello Aspirant,
Yes, from the fact that you secured 92.60% score in your 10th (SSC) exam and that you fall under the OBC category, you are eligible to apply for Computer Engineering at Government Polytechnic, Nagpur. Most of the general eligibility is passing the 10th exam, and given your high score and category reservation, you have reasonable hope for admission. Ultimately, based on cutoffs and the counseling at that institute/state board, you will be able to determine if you are getting admission to your preferred program. I'd recommend you check Government Polytechnic, Nagpur's recent admission guidance and merit lists for the relevant academic year.
Having a branch rank of 6254 in the AP ECET 2024 for Computer Science with a BCD category, you should have options in mid to low-tier engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The best engineering colleges under normal circumstances like SVCE Tirupati or GIET Rajahmundry usually close at around rank 1000–1500 for BCD but you could still find engineering colleges like Narayana Engineering College (Nellore), SVCET (Chittoor) or private institutions closing with much higher ranks. It's hard to analyze if you have options with your rank clearly as cutoffs change every year based on the number of available seats and the competition in that particular year. Therefore, enter the counselling process and see which colleges had higher closing ranks in previous years then you can use the official AP ECET counselling website and also see the trends in seat allotment prior to choosing.
Hii,
BSc Computer Science (Hons) can help you find a career, however top businesses such as Google and Microsoft typically want more abilities or higher degrees.
You can get hired at reputable companies if you study coding properly, build strong projects, complete internships, and improve your communication skills.
Some institutions provide placements, however it is contingent on your qualifications and the college's placement record. Keep learning and practicing to improve your odds.
HEY THERE!!
Your rank being 391,778 in JEE Main and being interested in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) in Bengaluru means that your chances of getting through top college (such as RVCE, MSRIT, PES University, BMSCE, IIIT Bangalore) are not feasible as their CSE cut-offs will be significantly lower (usually below 20,000–30,000). But most private engineering colleges in Bangalore do accept the JEE Main score and have closing ranks significantly higher, so getting through in lesser-known or newer institutions is possible.
Likely Colleges Accepting Your Rank for CSE in Bengaluru
Following are the types of colleges you should consider:
Some of the options to look out for:
Note: Actual cut-offs can differ every year. For CSE, even these colleges can have higher demand, so you might have to look at related branches (such as IT, ECE) or management quota seats for CSE.
How to Proceed
Recommendation:
Apply to several private colleges and maintain backup alternatives in related branches or management quota. For the most precise and updated list, utilize a college predictor tool or directly contact college admission offices.
With 36 percentile in Gujarat Board and 66 percentile in JEE Mains, getting a seat in a government college for Computer Engineering will be difficult because government colleges usually need higher scores. You might not get top government colleges, but you can try for some state-level colleges or private colleges with lower cutoffs. Also, check if there are any special quotas or management seats available. Keep backup options open in other branches or colleges to increase your chances of admission.
