The eligibility criteria to get admission to Diploma in Computer Science Engineering that a candidate must have passed class 10th with Mathematics and Science from a recognized board. The minimum percentage requirement is specified by the institute you are seeking admission so it will vary from one institute to another. But no need to worry,

Even if you don't have maths/computer science in 12th , you can still do bca in other colleges.

If you are applying for Under Graduate course in Indian Statistical Institute you must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with English and Mathematics from a recognized board. You haven't mentioned if you have studied English in 10+2 level so if you have studied English subject and Mathematics in 10+2 level you are eligible to apply for ISI Entrance Examination. If you haven't studied English in 10+2 level you are not eligible to apply for entrance examination.

In your queries you have not mentioned what course you want to take admission after 3 years diploma in polytechnic of Engineering stream. If you take the BTech course then there is a way of latteral entry in  BTech then who have pass 3 years diploma engineering courses are eligible for BTech course. For this the candidate has to appear for a screening test after qualifying in entrance test he or she is eligible for taking admission in that second year of BTech course in the respective stream of engineering course. For this BTech course he or she need not to appear for Maharashtra government entrance test which is taken for engineering, pharmacy, agriculture courses.

If you want to change of your course other than engineering then you can appear for Maharashtra common entrance test. But after 3 years diploma  from Polytechnic engineering course, if you want to take B.tech admission  there is no need to appear for Maharashtra common entrance test.

As per your given problem , there is no need to worry if you donot have knowledge about the computer science but you want to opt as your career. If you have good marks and you want to pursue btech from computer science then go for it.

As , the faculty of the engineering programme will teach you from basics so you donot need to worry for that. As many of the students are known about the computer but they still choose computer science as a careers and after doing the hardwork they will perform very well .

Yes definitely you can do because as per the information brochure of JEE-Main the candidates can appear for JEE-Main if they are either completing/ passed 10+2 with PCM background or if they have completed or appearing for final examinations of Diploma course recognized by AICTE or a State board of technical education of at least 3 years duration.

>>>>>> But make sure that in your Diploma you should pass with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects
