JEE Mains 2020 Paper 1 was moderately difficult and Physics was the most difficult subject while Mathematics and Chemistry were moderately difficult. JEE Mains is one of the toughest entrance exams in India. The question level of any subject of the exam is always tough and tricky. There are very little chance that you will get a normal question. Most of the questions will be tricky and challenging.

Talking about Physics, the questions test your conceptual knowledge. You need to understand the topics. You need to understand all the concepts to be able to solve the questions. The question will never be out of syllabus. The question will only be concept based. The questions will test your knowledge and how you apply that knowledge to solve the questions.
