why comedk cut off are higher this year for engineering
For any exam, the cutoffs ranks are generally dependent on the following factors :-
- Number of the candidates appeared in the examination.
- Number is seats available in the participating institutes.
- Previous years cutoff ranks.
- And the difficulty level of the question paper.
Now, after analysing the previous trends it is seen that if the seats in the participating institutes are increased then the cutoff ranks also increase. Also if the question paper is difficult then also the cutoff increases a little bit.
Also if the number of candidates appeared are less then also it is seen that the cutoff got increased.
So based on these factors the cutoffs are GENERALLY decided. But there are also other factors but the basic factors are only four which I have mentioned above.

The higher authorities want to fill up all the seats in government colleges through JoSSA. FYI JoSAA counselling round 6 results are on 7th November, 2020 and after that is when COMEDK choice filling will start.

As per considering previous years trends then you have tough chances of getting CSE in RVCE or MSRIT with this rank. The cutoff for cse in RVCE usually goes upto 900 whereas for MSRIT it goes upto 1145 in your category. But cutoff varies every year depending upon certain factors like no. of students,previous year trends, difficulty level, seat intake etc. So it is bit hard to predict the exactness of admission. However I am pretty sure that you can easily get any other branches in both colleges like you may have mechanical , chemical ,ece ,civil etc. Moroever if you want cse then you may grab a seat in following colleges:-
- Dayananda Sagar college of eng.
- Bangalore institute of technology
- JSS Science and technology university
- Sri M Visvesvaraya institute of technology

you may get the fee structure somewhat like this, as we can only give you an idea about the fee structure details of the college
1,60,000 Tuition and other fees including exam fees per year .If you get into hostel it would cost 75,000–80,000 per year, including mess. Apron and lab dress would cost around 1200. Approx 500- 600 on lab records and data sheets per sem. Miscellaneous fees will be around 3,000 per sem.
Every year you will have to pay Rs. 1,250 per credit. If you get a backlog and attend fastrack classes and examination. And 1,010 exam fees per subject. Rs. 500 adds on as subjects increase
