The category certificate format is given on the JoSAA official website. Your category certificate must be as per the given format. If it is not as per the given format then it will not be accepted. So it is important for you to obtain a category certificate in the given format to avoid disappointment. See there are two main questions, first is can you apply? the answer to that will be yes you can it is allowed.

Now the second one is will it be of any use? The answer to that will be NO, at 58 percentile you don't stand any chance of getting CSE in NSUT/DTU/IGDTUW/III-D, as all of those colleges are really the premium colleges of India, and at 58 percentile getting CSE in these colleges is not difficult but impossible, it might sound harsh but that is the truth, at that percentile you don't stand a chance to get into these institutions.

However there are colleges that do offer admissions at your percentile and you can check them using following tool.

For most of the Counseling process a category certificate that is considered to be valid must be around 6 months or so old.

------ Since your OBC- NCL certificate is issued after April 1, 2022 , you can use this category certificate for any Counseling till October.

------ Also, you must go through the instructions released by the authorities before counseling as different examination have different rules.

Hope you are doing great.  In order to do choose filling in JOSAA Counselling:

• All candidates must submit their preferences for institute and programme in the order they are listed in their registration documents.
• The candidate's eligibility will determine the institutes and programmes that are available to them. Candidates may select as many options from the list of available options to fill out in the order of their preferences.
• If a candidate wants to alter their preferred options, they may do so within the allotted time for each round specified in the counselling schedule. Only after choices have been locked are candidates required to take a printout of the completed choices.
• There are two panes on the choice filling page. Both the left and right panes display every option that is currently available. From the left pane, candidates can add as many options as they want in the order of preference (available choices). The choice will be added to the right pane and removed from the left pane as soon as they press the "Add" button in the left pane to add a specific choice. After clicking the "SAVE" button, the choices that are currently in the right pane will be taken into consideration as submitted choices.

To apply for EAMCET exam, the student have to fill his application form very-very carefully as they don't give any further chance to make changes in the application form.

However, they provide a second chance facility to make changes only in the Application Form and after that your application form gets locked. For any reason they won't allow to make any kind of minor changes also.

So, if you have filled your Category as General and not EWS, then I am sorry to say that, in or before counselling procedure also, you'll be considered for General Category only . You are not allowed to change your Category after submitting the application form.

The required documents for the said examination are essentially Bonafide certificates of class 10th and inter 2nd yea r. The extension to this goes to Bonafide certificates of class 8 (although not in this case) .

So, no need to get Bonafide certificates from class 1-7. Keep the ones you have, as a safe practice.

The counselling process entails a number of steps, including registration, payment of fees, selection of options, assignment, reporting to the assigned college, etc. Every qualified applicant is required to take part in the counselling process.

After all regular rounds of counselling are finished, there will be an exclusive round of COMEDK counselling for candidates who passed the PU Board supplementary exam or the 10+2 exam for the remaining seats. After all rounds of regular counselling are finished, candidates who successfully completed the Supplementary Exam during the current academic year will be given the opportunity to participate in the exclusive round of counselling for any open seats.
