i got prep sc rank 579 ,can i get preparatory course sir.if yes,then what will do me at this time so that i will get prepetory course.
Hello Aspirant,
According to the category rank mentioned by you in the question you have very low or almost no chances of getting into any of the IITs because the closing SC rank for preparatory courses in IITs were around 200-250 for other than female quota and you are very far from the figure so you can hardly get any IIT.
But don't get disappointed because if you have good rank in JEE-Main then you can get good NITs also and you can predict the colleges which you can get from JEE-Main by using JEE-Main College Predictor :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
Even though you have very low chances but still to have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your JEE-Advance 2021 score you can use JEE-Advance College Predictor:-
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-advanced-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

Or you can also refer to the link given below for previous years JEE-Advanced cut-off for IITs :-

JEE-Advance 2021 cut-offs are mentioned below :-
>>> Common rank list (CRL) - 10.0 (Minimum percentage of marks in each subject) - 35.0 (Minimum percentage of aggregate marks)
>>> GEN-EWS rank list - 9.0 - 31.5
>>> OBC-NCL rank list - 9.0 - 31.5
>>> SC rank list - 5.0 - 17.5
>>> ST rank list - 5.0 - 17.5
>>> CRL-PwD rank list - 5.0 - 17.5

>>> SC-PwD rank list - 5.0 - 17.5

what tpye of study in 12th and after 12th which course we do
Hello student,
The type of study that you are doing in 12th standard depends upon the streams that you have chosen from - Science, Commerce or Arts.
Now, after 12th too, there are different options available to you according to the stream that you have chosen.
If you are a Science Student, every stream is available. You can choose later any thing that you want to pursue in life.
As a Commerce student, you cannot choose the streams of a Science student, i.e. Engineering or Medical, etc. However, you have the liberty to choose otherwise all the other available stream choices
As an Arts student, your further choices are even more limited as you can choose the careers of a Commerce or a Science student. You will have to choose any language, philosophy, psychology, history, geography, etc as you career stream later on.
So, I suggest you that you choose wisely what to do after 12th as that is what is going to shape your further life and career
I hope this helps, All the Best!
Could please explain about the difference between Category 1 and Category 2 in course?
Hello,
Category 1 is for those who got ranks good ranks between (1 - 20k). They pay around 1.5 lakh per year as fees. It is the general merit list.
Category 2 is for not too good rank (20k to 40k).
They need to pay 2 x (fees of category1)
Lakh per year as fees and it goes on till category 4. Category 2/3/4 is similar to management quota.
Thank you

What are the documents required at the time of GD/PI during the BIMM Pune admission procedure?
5 years Btech+mtech course in CSE or 4 years Btech cource which is better
Dear Anirudh,
It all depends on your preference. If you like to learn deeply about Computer Science Course and after B.tech you want to go for M.tech, then you can save your one year as B.tech and M.tech done separately will take your 6 years. And doing integrated course that is B.tech+M.tech, you can do in 5 years.
So, you can choose accordingly.
