sir due to covid I didnt get coaching soo I didnt get proper rank 148312 rank sooo iam interested in engineering soo we do I get seat
hello aspirant,
see, to be honest you have a very low chance to get admission in any college, and even if you get admission in some college then, that college won't be good enough to get you proper education and placements as well.
you do not to worry about anything, try for the exam for next year,
prepare well till then.
hope that helps
Due to Covid situation, for 2020 VIT admission ,Can counselling be held thru Microsoft teams or any similiar online meeting channels by parent and student as both are in different place now.please confirm
It is very much probable that the VIT admission authorities may conduct counseling through online platforms such as Microsoft teams/zoom/jiochat/webex/Meet. The condition of this pandemic is not such that people and students can traverse a long distance to do counseling which can be done even online. But the last decision rests in the hands of the authorities.
Best of luck!
my family is now infected by covid , i can t appear from my house .india is become the third worst hited contry by corana. if any student infect with covid, how he can attend in examination hall?
Hello Manoranjan,
Firstly I wish your family will healthy soon. Now talking about exams so due to this Panedamic Covid-19 the government had cancelled all exams so no need to worry about exams . As you have not mentioned about exams so, as we know JEE exams has been postponed not cancelled so that case you write email to authorities and explain your present condition. You guide you that how you can give your exams with some precautions.
Thank You.
what would be the expected 2020 NEET cutoff due to COVID and cancellation of AIIMS & JIPMER?
Hello aspirant
it is the first time ever when AIIMS and JIPMER are conducting admission through neet examination so predicting cut off marks is quite difficult for Aiims and jipmer
Also,
cut off marks will depend upon various factors like kind of marks obtained by students in the examination , toughness level of the neet examination etc and AIIMS and Jipmer will be providing admission through all India quota for which cutoff marks goes high
keeping these things in mind you should target around 680+ marks at least in your neet examination if you want to get a seat in Aiims Delhi and at least 670+ marks for Jipmer if you belong to general category
Thank you
students who all are COVID BATCH with no gardes either in class 10 or 12 how fullfill the eligibility criteria in on campus placement
Hey Aspirant,
Major of the colleges have started entrance tests for admission and not on the basis of your 12th percentage. So no need to worry about admission. In case of placements after completion of your degree it will be based on your college performance.
I am a double dropper in first drop year I joined bsc college and due to covid i was promoted to bsc 2nd year but in 2nd year i didnt gave my college exam so while applying in NIT what reason to give for drop in gap certificate as i had joined a college in that 2 years should i mention college nam
Dear Student,
As far as I'm concerned, the NITs don't even give that a second thought when considering applicants for undergraduate or graduate programmes; instead, they only take your all-India rank or entrance exam score into account. If you have to attend an interview for a research-based graduate programme, one of the panellists may, in a very unlikely scenario, inquire as to how you used the time during covid pandemic.
But some employers might inquire about the cause for the break from school during your placement period. So don't worry; what will eventually count is how committed and motivated you are to the programme to which you have been admitted.
If necessary then mention your previous college name. But it shouldn’t be a problem during admission time. They will ask you to bring a list of certificates during admission time and generally gap certificate doesn’t bother them.
Hope this information helps you.
Good luck.
sir i have cleared class 12 in 2021 but because of covid situation school gived me just 60%, now i am giving jee main for the first time in 2022 and want to take drop for 2023 advance, sir can i repeat 12 or can increase mark by NIOS for 75% criteria will it work or what should I do please answer.
Hello Sahil,
Sad to hear that due to Covid your 12th Board percentage got decreased to 60%. But you can increase your marks by giving NIOS .
For JEE MAINS, a student must have to score 75% or above in his/her 12th Board which must have Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English as an additional mandatory subject.
To increase your percentage, you can definitely repeat your Class 12th by giving NIOS examination. If you want to give exam for only one subject then the marks of rest of the subjects will be automatically added to your newly generated marksheet of NIOS.
So, coming back to your question, YES , you can definitely increase your percentage to 75% and above if you study well for it and give NIOS examination of 12th Class. Furthermore, the newly generated 12th Marksheet will not at all interfere with your JEE MAINS & IIT-ADVANCED exams if you score minimum of 75% in your NIOS 12th repeat exam .

Hi, I am expecting around 70-80% in PCM class 12th in CBSE (batch of 2022). I wish to take a drop year to prepare for jee 2023 and since NTA has waived off 75% criteria for NITs (in JEE 2021 and 2022) for covid batch, considering if i get <75% in boards will I be able to get in NITs in JEE 2023?
Dear aspirant,
The waiving off of the 75 percentage criteria has not been made as a policy decision yet. So, if they don't waive it off next year, we can't say for sure if they'll make exceptions for the droppers. All this depends on how the COVID situation turns out on what decisions are going to be made. Hence, it is slightly risky to assume that you'll be able to get into NITs next year without >75 percentage marks.
Hope this helps
My friend is having viteee exam tomorrow. But he was tested positive for covid today. will there be retest or any way to write the examination online from home. pls reply fast!
Hello Student
Immediately before the 15 days of exam date your friend should have to contact with the authority of the Vellore Institute of Technology for informing his or her inconvenience to appear for the exam. Here she has to apply through email.to the Vellore Institute of Technology with valid documents of his illness and pray for doing something positive for appearing his examination in a hospital bed or in sitting in his home.
Hope this will help.
