can i get nit surathkal cse in csab 2021 gen category. my crl is 2900
Dear Student,
There is very less chance that you can get NIT surathkal CSE branch with this rank but the chances are high that you can get ECE and other branches. You can get ECE in all the three top NIT which is Warangal, Trichy, and Surathkal.
And if you are interested only in CSE then you can choose these college while choice filling.
- MNNIT Allahabad
- NIT Rourkela
- NIT Jaipur
- NIT Calicut
- NIT Nagpur
For more details you can use this college predictor so that you can figure it out by own and compare all other colleges.

Hello,
In round 1 of CSAB 2020 counselling the cut off(CRL) was 51452 for SC category to get admission to Computer Science and Engineering in National Institute of Technology Delhi. Taking the previous year cut off in to consideration and the CRL that you have secured you do not have chances to get seat in CSE in National Institute of Technology Delhi. But you have chances of getting seat in the following institutes
- National Institute of Technology Agartala: Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering
- National Institute of Technology Agartala: Physics (5 Years, Bachelor of Science and Master of Science (Dual Degree))
- National Institute of Technology Durgapur : Chemistry (5 Years, Integrated Master of Science)

The cut off changes every year depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

Hello,
In CSAB 2020 Round 1 counselling the cut off was 51452 for SC category to get admission to Computer Science Engineering in National Institute of Technology Delhi. The cut off mentioned is the CRL rank secured by the candidate in JEE Main. This year the cut off may vary in between 50000-60000. Considering the previous year cut off you do not have chances to get seat in NIT Delhi in CSE. Based on the previous year cut off here is the list of few institutes in which you have chances of getting seat
- National Institute of Technology Nagaland: Civil Engineering (slight chances)
- National Institute of Technology Raipur: Bio Medical Engineering (slight chances)

Can I get admission in nit jalandhar in csab rounds in branch biotechnology with crl 160358 open category?
You haven't mentioned your state, last year the cut off was as follows for general category to get admission in to Dr. B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar in Bio Technology
- Other state: 49380
- Home state: 237805
This was the previous year cut off (CRL) in CSAB round 2 counselling. Considering the previous year cut off you don't have chances to get seat in NIT, Jalandhar in Bio Technology if you belong to Punjab. If you belong to any state other than Punjab then you do not have chances to get seat in the preferred institute in Bio Technology.
The cut off changes every year depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

Hello Aspirant,
See as per the revised counselling schedule released by JOSAA on November 19th, the last date for online reporting for Round 6 was November 20th, 2021 and that too by 12 PM so now you are late. Now you have to attend CSAB counselling if you want to get into any of the IIITs and also you should withdraw your request from JOSAA counselling before proceeding for CSAB counselling..
You can check out complete information from the link given below :-

if I get any nit or iiit in Josiah counseling but if i want to participate in CSAB round but if did not get my dream college then josaa counseling Wali collage i can get
Hello,
Candidates who have valid JEE Main rank and who participated in JoSAA 2021 but did not get seat are eligible for CSAB 2021 special round. Also the candidates who are allotted seats through JoSAA 2021 but not accepted their admission or cancelled the allotted seats are eligible for CSAB 2021 special round. So if you want to participate in CSAB counselling you have to cancel the seat allotted in JoSAA counselling if you are allotted a seat. When you cancel the seat allotted in JoSAA counselling you cannot claim it if you do not get seat after CSAB counselling is concluded. I got 511 rank under (OBC NCL PWD) can get a seat in nit surathkal in csab round with good branch
Hello Aspirant,
See in CSAB seats are allotted on the basis of CRL ranks only not on the basis of any of the category rank, so please help us with your CRL rank then only we can help you with CSAB allotment. But yes on such rank we can help you with JOSAA allotment.
As we go through the latest cut-offs of JEE-Main 2020 of JOSAA 6th round then it shows that you can get only Metallurgical and Materials Engineering branch in NIT Surathakal under Home state quota no any other branch .
You can check out the latest cut-offs from the link given below :-
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

Good Luck for your future!!
I am obc ncl pwd candidate and I got 1650 in jee mains 2021 can I get nit surathkal in csab round
Hi,
Assuming 1650 is your PWD Rank, it is difficult to get admission in NIT -Surathkal as last year the lowest rank to get admission in NIT-Surathkal is around 800. However you had some chance in special round. Special round happens only when seat remain empty after all previous rounds. If any seat remain unfilled then you had chance to get NIT-Surathkal because cutoff remains low than normal rounds.
Thanks!!!!
