As you have qualified the csir jrf exam in EWS category So you are only eligible for EWS seats. As EWS candidates are less so it will be easier to get seat in EWS category than general category. So apply PhD in EWS category.

Mostly in the month of June and December NET Exam is conducted.
Candidates have to select the subjects in which they have completed their post-graduation.
You are eligible you take UGC NET in Home Science subject.
You must have 55% or above in Masters’ degree to appear for the NTA NET 2022 exam if you belong to General category minimum 50% aggregate marks including OBC/SC/ST/PwD/Transgender category.

There is no minimum age prescribed as per the CSIR NET. So you need to complete your Masters program or atleast your Bachelors program in order to be eligible for the examination.
