CUET 2022 Exam pattern
There are 4 categories
Section IA – 13 Languages
Section IB – 19 Languages
Section II – 27 Domain-specific Subjects
Section III – General Test
There are two slots in this exam.
Slot-1
You can choose a maximum of 4 exams in Slot 1.
This comprises one language from Section IA, utmost of two domain-specific subjects (Section II) and one General exam (Section III).
2 domain-specific subjects are necessary. So your application is most likely to be rejected.
For slot 2
One language from Section IA & IB and an utmost of four domain-specific subjects from Section II. OR
Two languages from Section IA & IB and a maximum of three domain-specific subjects from Section II.
Language section
1A (language test subjects)
Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Urdu, Assamese, English, Bengali, Punjabi, and Odia.
1B( elective language)
19 languages. Anyone may be chosen.
French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, Italian, Arabic, Sindhi, Kashmiri, Konkani, Bodo, Dogri, Maithili, Manipuri, Santhali, Tibetan, Japanese, Russian, and Chinese.
Domain-specific subjects.

Accountancy/Book Keeping, Biology/ Biological Studies/ Biotechnology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Computer Science/ Informatics Practices, Economics/Business Economics, History, Home Science, Legal Studies, Environmental Studies, Mathematics, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, and Sanskrit.
B2
Engineering Graphics, Entrepreneurship, Knowledge Tradition Practises in India, Fine Arts/ Visual Arts/ Commercial Arts, Teaching Aptitude, Agriculture, Mass Media/Mass Communication, Physical Education/NCC/Yoga, and Performing Arts.
General Test
Subjects
General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning (Simple application of basic mathematical concepts arithmetic/algebra geometry/mensuration/s tat taught till Grade 8), Logical and Analytical Reasoning.
