l got 95.07 percentile in which field I got admission in daiict or pdpu. what chance for mechanical engineering or it computer
Your expected rank would be : 42,842.
It is calculated by using the below formula:
(100-your total percentile score)*869010/100.
Here 86,9010 is the number of candidate appeared for the January session of exam.
Admission in DAIICT can be done if your rank lie under 15k so you have degraded chances of admission in DAIICT but yes you can have admission in PDPU as you are at the border side of the CSE cutoff so yes you can easily get into the mechanical engineering branch in PDPU, but in CSE there are less chances.
Best of luck.
how many marks I should get in merit to get addimision in pdpu nirma or daiict
Hi Vatsal,
Not even NTA can tell you the exact marks you need to secure to get into any of them because of the percentile systems which categorises the candidates into groups. That is if your percentile is 90 then you are better than 90 percent of population. Now this means even scoring 0 you can still get 90 percentile as there could be 90 percent candidates who have secured less than 0. To get into any of them for safe side you need to score 200+.
I got 95.07 percentile rank in jee 2020 January can I get addimision in nirma pdpu or daiict
Hi Aspirant,
Hope you are doing well!! As you got decent percentile i.e. 95.07, so according to the given formula
(100 - your percentile)*869010/100
Your rank will be around 42,840. So you can get admission in Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology(DAIICT) very easily and you have also chances to sit in the counselling for PDPU, Gandhinagar.
I suggest you to make yourself prepare for JEE-Advance exam because it can give more prestigious institutes like IITs, IISER, etc.
Hope this helps you. For further queries feel free to ask.
Good Luck!!

maximam percintile for daiict college in 2020
ACPC counselling which is only for Gujarat students, one should have at least 94% in boards exams and an decent score in GUJCET. DAIICT’s cutoff closes at nearly 230 rank in ACPC. Another way to get into DAIICT is Jee Main. According to the previous years cutoff, in order to get a seat in DAIICT, you should score atleast 180 marks or you must secure a rank under 15000. Now it is previous year's data and cutoffs change every year as it depends on various factors.
can i admission in 93.6 percentile in DAIICT?
Admissions at DAIICT Gandhinagar are done through ACPC self-counselling by institute for All India Seats & NRI Seats (15% seats). One having a score at least 180 marks has high chance to get into DAIICT. To get into ICT+CS( computational science ) branch you should have secured a rank under 10,000 in JEE Mains. Another way to get admission is ACPC merit list for which 60% weightage is given to board percentile and 40% to GUJCET percentile.
Can I get admission in SVNIT, DAIICT or NIRMA institute of technology Gujarat if I am getting 87.96 pr in JEE main first round and can I get reserved seat coz I m in SC category
Dear Jaimin,
You got 87.96 percentile which is neither poor nor very good but decent one for reservation category like SC/ST, Gen-EWS, OBC, etc. Cut-offs are decided on the basis of your rank in JEE-Mains. According to your percentile your rank is near 104630. You can also predict your rank using the Rank Predictor Tool .
SVNIT Surat:
- It is one of the prosperous NITs of India.
- It takes admission in undergraduate B.Tech course though all India JEE-Mains examination only.
- Other state : 2019 Cut-off Rank for SC category Male was 4155 and for Female it was 6234.
- Home State : 2019 Cut-off rank for SC category Male was 9963 and for Female it was 10040.
DAIICT Gandhinagar :
- There is no Home State quota.
- It is a private college so you can take direct admission also.
- You can check about this college on it's website (https://www.daiict.ac.in/) .
- You have an opportunity for this college.
NIRMA Institute of Technology :
- It takes admission on JEE-Main basis as well as GUJCET basis, which means that you have two ways to get admission to this college.
- Last year its general cut-off was around 10000.
I think you have gone through the given data, now you can choose what is most appropriate for you.
According to me you should not leave the hope to get IITs because you have one attempt remaining of April, 2020 and your hard work can take you beyond your thinking and expectations.
All the Best !!
Which is good DAIICT in gujarat or karunya coimbatore best for electronics and Telecommunication for girls?
For doing engineering in electronics and telecommunication, both DAIICT and karunya university in Coimbatore are good options if you want to know for a girl. But in terms of faculty, infrastructure, placement and reviews I would recommend DAIICT for you as it is one of the best colleges out there with a good record to show for it.
