As far as I know there are two hostels for Boys in Dayanand College of Engineering.The hostel is well maintained with regular maintenance and cleaning, taking all the necessary precautions. The food was served in two messes,one for south Indian food and one for north indian. As far as the question regarding how many students will be there in a room is concerned I am not really sure but I think two students will share a room(however you can take a room in NRI hostel where they can give you a single seater but they will take higher fees). Answer laterI have a chance to go to BIT Bangalore, DSCE for CSE. I may also get ISE in MSRIT, BMSCE. PESU is tough luck in CSE, may get ISE. Which college should I choose in terms of placements, infrastructure, hostel, fees etc. (OR) Should I join to NIE Mysore or SIT tumkur. Please provide a detailed report.

The best college for CSE course among these two would be MVIT as the cutoff for MVIT is less compared to NIE and SIT which suggests that there would be better students in that college and thus you would get a better environment to study. Also, the placement record of MVIT is a little better than NIE as it is located in Bengaluru city and thus more companies visit there for placements.

Can i shift from medical electronics to cs/is in dayanand sagar college of engineering after 1st year? If yes, how hard is it going to be?
Yes you can change your B.tech branch after your first year in Dayanand Sagar College.
For that you must not have any backlogs at the end of your first year. Try to not have any backlogs at all. Also your CGPA must be very high as many students will be applying for the branch change.
The department you are applying for, I your case it's CSE/IT must have some vacant seats.
If all above conditions are applicable then you can go for branch change.
You also need to pay some fees to the management for the branch change.

Also, bms, nmit, dsce and rv College has high cutoff rank. So, you will not get CSE or ECE in that colleges.

Dear Aspirant,
If you have the skills and the company you are applying for have a position for you, that is, not with a branch restriction, then surely you can apply there and do that internship provided that you are selected.
However, some companies do not take students from other streams, so make sure that you are applying where there is no such restrictions.
