The main point of discussion is the placements.

D.S.C.E always has great placements in CSE and this year was no exception. The highest package reaching up to 20 l.p.a (Amazon and Microsoft), the average salary being close to around 4.5-5 LPA.

Maximum students are placed in IT companies with an average pakage of 3-3.5 lpa.

The hostel facility is are average at the Dayananda Sagar College Of Engineering. The hostel fee is around 1,15,000/- per year For Indians. for NRI it is around 1,40,000/- Per year. The NRI hostels are excellent they are neatly maintained and cleaned every day. The food is also superb.GYM facility is also provided to the hostel students. First of all it's difficult to say how the college is because the university has started just 4 years back. Though the faculties are good and bad just like other colleges, infrastructure is good, library very good, timings are fine.

The university management claims that the placement will be centralised in the main campus itself. So there's a high chance of getting placed. It's true to some extent.

I would recommend you to go with MS Ramaih.

As almost all of the students get placed pretty well more than 85%. More than 75% of them get into reputed companies with great job titles, with salary packages going upto 19 lakhs/annum. The average is however 5-6 lakhs.

The strength of this college is the labs, it's well  to say the labs are state of the art facilities . Now to put this into perspective, the university has a supersonic wind tunnel that is there only in iisc other than this college in India. There is good diversity and people from all walks of life come here .

The student faculty ratio in 8:1 which is impressive. The management is supportive too, they have a good system where the students can directly reach out the management and speak their problems to them. The classes have a sporting and competitive environment.

Hi Tamseel, in my opinion, with this rank, you will be able to get many branches at DSCE  colleg. But the popular ones like CSE, ECE and Ise will be difficult for you to get. You should be able to get EEE branch.

These might change as cutoffs vary from year to year.
