how to apply for government seats of deemed universities in neet mcc round3
Hello Aspirant,
See for this year there are no government seats in Deemed universities and even there is no any provision of government seats in deemed universities but according to the new policy to be implemented by NMC jointly with GoI "the private medical colleges and deemed universities shall charge fees for 50% of its total sanctioned seats on a par with government medical colleges in that State/Union Territory. "
And as per the notification released by NMC few days back the new policy will be implement in private medical colleges and deemed universities from session 2023-24 means those who will be appearing for NEET UG 2023 and will be taking admission in 2023 will be benefited with this policy.
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
Hello. I am taking part in the MCC NEET UG 2021 Counselling. I have applied for deemed universities. I took part in Round 1 and was allotted a college seat. I do not wish to take admission to that college. Can I still participate in the Mop-Up Round? I am not joining the 2nd Round of counselling.
Hi aspirant,
Mop up rounds is conducted by MCC in order to fill the vacant seats available in various medical colleges after the two rounds of counselling. See actually any person who has qualified neet can apply for the mop up round, it not matters that if he or she is allotted a seat or not or participated in previous rounds. The only case a person is not allowed to participate in the mop up round is that if he or she has filled up status retention form and confirmed his admission to the college.
Since you have mentioned that you didn't got into the previously allotted college, so you can definitely apply for mop up round.
Hope it helps!
