is there any college in delhi for Defence studies in BA
I dont take chemistry in bsc(zoology, botany, defence studies), instead took defence studies, can I give neet paper ?
Hello
Your qualification in 12th is what considered for neet
Yes, you are eligible for neet examination if you do bsc(zoology, botany, defence studies) provided you must have
passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got
-
at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in 12th examination if belongs to general category
-
at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to st/Obc/ Sc
-
at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.
So, if you fulfill this requirement as per your category then you are definitely eligible for Neet examination ,even if you do bsc(zoology, botany, defence studies) and after qualifying Neet examination you can get admission in medical colleges for MBBS etc on the basis of rank or marks obtained by you in NEET
Also,
*there is no upper age limit for Neet examination as of now
For detailed information about neet examination go through our page forl which link is provided below; -

While filling the neet form
You need to choose the code 02.
This is because,
Though you are doing bsc(zoology, botany, defence studies) your highest qualification with all the three subjects i. e physics chemistry and Biology /biotechnology remains 10 + 2 .
While, those who have passed 1st year of 3 year degree/graduation course with all the three subject i. e physics chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology needs to select code 5 and those who have completed BSc with at least any two of physics chemistry and Biology in their bsc need to select code 6.

is bsc defence studies is a good graduation course?
Hey Yashi!
Defense studies incorporates almost all aspects related to military and defense of the nation. It incorporates strategic studies, military science, national security, security studies etc in its curriculum and is a magnificent career option if you are interested in defense services. A Bachelor's degree, in your case BSc in defense studies opens a lot of doors for you in the future and in my opinion is a good graduation course. Some of the career opportunities which you may have in future if you opt for bachelor's in defense studies are:-
• You can go for Master's degree in defense studies.
• You can opt for research in defense studies by opting for PhD or M.Phil etc
• Most of the candidates prefer going for national duty in different parts of the Army.
• You can go for a teaching career by sharing your knowledge you gained in defense studies.
• Journalism is a good career avenue in defense studies.
• A lot of candidates become defense analysts or experts and share defense strategies in different organizations.
Hope this helps.
