I have to cross two UR candidate to secure seat in North bengal dental college, Is it possible in Mopup round?
Hello Soham Dey,
Yes, you may go for Mop-Up round of NEET UG Counseling. You might get BDS Seat in North Bengal Dental College. Mop- Up Round NEET 2019 is the counselling process provided by the respective states, against the reverted seats from All India 15% Quota. It can also be called as the second last step for NEET Admission. The seats that remain vacant after 1st and 2nd round counselling are filled by the Mop up round for NEET UG.
BEST WISHES!
will i have any chance to work as a dentist in any hospital after completing my bds course with out establishing my own clinic
hello, Yes to gain the experience and to make money its better you start grabbing your chances in hospitals, private companies, research institutes its difficult task to set up a dental clinic on own as soon as you complete your course and you would be left with little experience.
best of luck.

Sir we submitted certificates in dental college.but we have to cancel the seat.& we want togo to other college.that is acceptable are not?
Hi,
Mostly it depends on the college policies but yes you can apply for the return of your documents. For this, you just have to drop an application regarding your situation and ask them to return all the documents which are submitted to the college. Although first, you should ask the college authorities about the return policy.
I wish you best of luck
Thank You

any chance to get mbbs from bds through bridge course
Hello Aspirant!
The Dental Council of India (DCI) has urgedMedical Council of India (MCI) to introduce a three-year MBBS bridge course for Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) graduates, which will allow them to become full-fledged MBBSdoctors. MCI, sources said, is considering the proposal. However, a final decision is yet to be taken.
Hope this helps you!
Actually I am totally messed up with BDS field ...I dont know that do feels me weired cause nowdays dentist considered below mbbs? Why
A doctor is a good doctor not because of what degree he/she has but bcoz of what talent they have and how u tackle and treat and serve ur patients
Though degree cannot be completely ignored but degree is not just the only factor
I suggest u that go for the field in which u feel like that u can succeed
If u can become a got Dentist then move on
And if not India then there is a wide scope of dentistry in other countries and on the other hand as common people we need dentists too
So best of luck and do what u can do best
Tell me about paramedical courcess
Hello Sudeep
Pharmacy is a paramedical course with very good scope. Physiotherapy diploma is another course with very good scope. Optometry is another course with sufficient scope of employment. Radiology has also very good scope due to use of digital instruments in hospitals and testing centers. Medical instrument diploma courses are on demand due to use of high sensitive instruments for testing. Nursing is the most important course for paramedical branch. Laboratory testing technician course is also on high demand due to increasing tests for detecting diseases in hospitals. Specialised courses are offered for cancer, heart disease, kidney transplant and ortho paedic care.
What is the stipend that you would get in Karnataka in government dental college?
Hi Priyanka
Stipend varies from college to college unfortunately. Also depending upon whether its a GDC/ private college/ own university. And which city/ town you're located in.
The stipend varies but generally it is in following form for UG :
- 1st Year : 30000
- 2nd Year : 35000
- 3rd Year : 40000
Post graduate students are paid stipend only in government dental college, bangalore as far as my knowledge goes. It may must around 25k/month.
Hope this helps you.
