For the general category students, the NEET cutoff score was 766.1 to clear the examination, for the reserved category students a relaxation is there, 
for OBC cutoff score was 759.8 and for the SC category candidates cutoff was 644.3 to pass the NEET MDS examination.

Thus it's scope is quite large and nearly unlimited in itself.You will have to work to mobilise resources to work for prevention of dental disease.As a community/public you will learn all the basics of dental trearment but you will be specialised in planning and implementation

India has a long way to go in order to broaden the scope of public dentistry the reason being lack of infrastructure due to which many dentists prefer working out of India.If government provides facilities and increase job opportunities then there is so much to explore in this field.

At present,a dentist can either set up his own clinics,teach as a professor or work in government hospitals with low salaries.
