Can I buy seat without getting qualified?
Hello
If you are asking about admission to the BDS course, admission is done on the basis of marks of candidate in the NEET exam. NEET is the entrance exam for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH courses in medical colleges of the country.
Only NEET qualified candidates are eligible to apply for admission to the BDS course. Do let us know if you have any other query.
Good Luck!

Of course not , you cannot do bds .
Its mandatory to clear neet if you want to do mbbs ; bds or bms or any other medical course and this is not compulsory only for a seat in Government Medical College but also for private medical college and not only this , you have to clear neet if you want to do mbbs or bms in foreign also.

Which private dental college will i get with 300 marks in neet?
Hi Swikriti,
We can't tell you on the basis of your marks alone that which college you will get because along with marks there are other things also which play a major role in deciding it like number of students appearing in the exam, difficulty level of the exam, number of students scoring more marks than you .The category to which you belong to is also important.Theres one more thing that matters is you are applying under which quota like 85% state quota or 15% AIQ .Prepare well for your exams, give your best and wait for the results.
Good luck
I dont have physics so is that possible to study dental courses without having physics?
Hi Titly,
For admissions in Medical and Dental colleges across India, the entrance exam required in NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test), conducted by a body called NTA. This is a mandatory test for all Dental colleges.
The pattern of this test comprises
45 questions from Physics
45 questions from Chemistry
and 90 questions from Biology.
And thus, Physics becomes a mandatory subject that the candidate must have undertook in the high school.
The eligibiliity criteria for this exam also includes the requirement of an aggregate score of 65% in PCB subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology). And so, it is not possible to get into Dental without physics.
All The Best.
does dentistry from private college is valuable in terms of job offers in various hospitals and what will be the salary ??
Hello Sneha,
It depends on the college you are getting into. There are various career options for BDS Aspirant, In this course, the students learn & taught about the denture, dental problems and surgery.
Some of the options are mentioned below:
Set up private practice: A common option followed by many dentists who have passed and registered themselves with the Dental Council of India. This will require some amount of funds and a good location. It also will take sometime before the dentists can establish themselves.
Consultant: Working as a consultant with established hospitals is another option. Here, you would be like an employee who is required to take on the patients who visit the hospital for their dental problems.
Teaching: Generally freshers are not taken in for teaching. The job requires experienced doctors who can answer queries and teach well. However teaching is an option for dentists who have an inclination for it albeit after gaining some experience working as a dentist.
Further Study: Another option would be to go in for Masters in Dental Surgery. The specializations available like Oral Medicine, Diagnosis, and Radiology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics, Prosthodontics etc. allow dentist to choose the area in which they would like to mark their career.
Dentists can also pursue a management course like MHA (Masters in Hospital Administration) or MPH (Masters in Public Health). This will allow them to step into the management side of health organizations or hospital chains.
Salary differs as per the career option you choose.
Good Luck!
How much marks are required in neet for BDS admission in government college?
The cutoff is subjected to variation depending upon the level of difficulty of the exam, the number of candidates and also the category of the candidates.
The cutoff marks for admission to the BDS seats in the government Colleges is around 490 marks which is the average via the All India Quota.
Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences which is considered to be one of the best dental colleges of India had an average cutoff of 558 for the general category in 2018. But there are colleges with cutoff as low as 460 or so. But to be on a safer side, try scoring above 480.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
