can I get daiict cs branch with 97 pr in jee main
First of all congratulations on your result.
Hopefully you are doing great and studying hard to achieve your goals.
You need 98+ percentile for DAIICT. You need rank under 14 k with general category.
Hopefully this will help you.
Thank you.
is the best to join daiict against nit in cse my jee mains rank is 10153 daiict offered ict to me
Hi,
First, DAIICT doesn't provide any such course it provides ICT with Computational Science and it's not Computer science. There is no CSE degree offered at DAIICT. There’s ICT and ICT with minor in CS under BTech courses.
DA-IICT is a better choice in my opinion and the reasons are as follows.
- Faculty- The faculty members are good who teach very well.
- Course curriculum- The campus offers great coding culture and a unique course structure that emphasizes programming from the beginning of the course.
- You get the option to pursue an honors degree in Computational Science that offers unique courses like High-performance computing, computational finance, etc. This gives an edge over computer science students.
- Placements- DA-IICT has 100% placement. The average salary packages are INR 10 LPA and the highest salary package offered was INR 40 LPA.
However, at the NITs, you have to study Physics and Chemistry again and subjects like Engineering Drawing that have no relevance with Computer Science as the first year are common amongst all branches.
Only the top three NITs- NIT Trichy, NIT Warangal, and NIT Surathkal are better than DA-IICT.
Hope this helps.
All the Best.
what should i choose between DAIICT and IIIT DELHI? (Im from south india)
Hey there
Mentioned below are the points of comparison between these two institutes:
- Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology has been accredited by NAAC with grade A.
- It has been ranked at 18 position out of 70 private Engineering institutes.
- The highest salary package offer was 39.3 lakh per annum.
IIIT Delhi
- Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology has been ranked at 13 position for government Engineering by India today.
- More than 700 offers were made and 111 companies come in this Institute fore placements.
- The highest salary package offered here was 39 lakh per annum.
By above points it is difficult to say which institute is more better as both are excellent in their fields. However wherever you go you will have benefit.
my crl rank is16825 which is best option for me SVNIT-ECE OR DAIICT OR IIIT BRC OR NIT WARANGAL CE
Hello,
Congratulations on getting such good college and branch options. I will give you a preference list which will comprise of all these factors:
- Overall ranking
- Infrastructure
- Location/accessibility
- Branch that you are been offered(Core/interdisciplinary)
- Placement opportunities
The preference order you should consider is:
- SVNIT ECE
- NITW CE
- DAIICT
- IIIT BRC
I would also like to add here that an engineering course should be very much taken with an interest in the field so I would suggest you to consider that factor and if you are not aware of the branches mentioned look them up on the internet more reliable will be to go through the syllabus on the respective colleges' website.
Good luck, hope it helps!!
DAIICT THROUGH JEE MAIN CUT OFF
The admission will be done on the basis of scores in JEE Main or GUJCET . The authorities will conduct the admission process on two levels - All India Level and Gujarat State Level. For Gujarat category, the candidates will have to apply through ACPC.
For getting DAIICT ICT HONORS branch you need to get minimum rank of around 11500-12000. If you don't want to get waitlisted. You may be allotted seat in spot round if you have rank of around 13000. To get rank of around 12000, your percentile should be around 98.8-98.9%.
Thank you.

Yes, you can get admission in DAIICT on the basis of your board marks but look out for the cut off. On the other hand GUJCET would look for your jee main marks.
is the best to join the daiict or not Raipur or patna cse branch
Hello,
According to records all three colleges have very good ratings.
According, to NIRF Ranking NIT Patna is in 72th position, NIT Raipur is on 64th and DAIICT is in 107th position.
You can choose any college according to your preference and choice as both have good placements the difference is NIT is a government college and DAIICT is private college.
Average placement:
NIT Patna - 8.8 LPA
NIT Raipur - 9.5 LPA
DAIICT - 12.32 LPA
Hope this helps
