I am physically disabled candidate (hearing impaired) and i am going to apply engineering course in the kcet 2020 exam ,so I kindly request you to give information/guidlines of medical certificate for physically disabled candidates and also format of medical certificate.
Greetings rajesh!
Candidates who have more than 40% disability will be eligible for PWD reservation in KCET. Candidates claiming reservation under physical disability will have to appear for a medical examination at KEA office, Bangalore.
On the day of medical examination you will have to bring a medical certificate issued by a competent doctor of any government hospital in Karnataka. As for candidates suffering from hearing disability will have to compulsory produce a BSER i.e brain steamed evoked response.
Well you no need to worry about the medical certificate as it is the duty of the doctor to make it. A PWD certificate should include/certifies the type and extent of holder's disability. You will have to apply for it through any government hospital in Karnataka.
Hope it helps.
Thankyou!
