can i do bsc in biochemistry in a distance education mode along with mbbs?
No, you are not allowed till date to pursue BSc in Biochemistry along with MBBS.
UGC allows 2 simultaneous degrees only if :
Degree/Diploma programs under ODL/Online mode must be pursued with only those institutes which are recognised by UGC/Statutory Council/Govt. of India.
The official document states :A student can pursue two academic programmes, one in full time physical mode and another in Open and Distance Learning (ODL)/Online mode; or up to two ODL/Online programmes simultaneously.
These guidelines are applicable for all academic programs except Ph.D.
However, UGC has given university flexibility to decide further whether students will be given permission or not.
Till now, no university allows one to pursue other degree course along with MBBS in India.

is a distance education degree as valid as a regular degree?
Yes, if the University offering degree in distance mode is recognized by UGC, it's definitely valid, and equivalent to any other regular degree, for example IGNOU is the largest open university in our country with regional centre in every states, and multitude of study centres under it, the courses it offers are valid for higher studies, you can opt for government exams, and it's accepted even in private sector which has risen more so in the recent times, if you have a look at the employees of top companies, many have pursued their studies in distance mode, it's quite common to find such people in most comapnies.
i have done my graduation in distance education at AU with 49% and later i got a job at Non Mnc company at that time i have done my mba in distance with 64%.can i apply for mnc companies with these distance education Degree
Multinational companies need full time graduation with 60% marks. Most of the companies are making it necessary for the people who apply for the job to be a full time graduate. I'm sorry to say this but distance education graduation is not necessary to get a job in multinational companies. Many companies have rejected the application forms just because the candidates have a distant bachelors degree. Indian IT Companies work on the model of providing services at very low cost. So they want cheap employees, who have everything good on paper, to get easy visa.
In some companies like IBM, Google, Microsoft etc they value your skills. They want right person for a right job. They will give you training and if you are good at your job you can work there.
Degree taken through distance education is valid to get job in MNCs. But most of Indian multinational companies are not considering that. There are also many companies that value your work and skills along with your qualification. Not weather you are a regular or a distance education graduate.
Thank you.
