I want to become a cricketer ,but at the same time I think that what will I do If I am not able to be a professional cricketer for my country So I also want to become a doctor and My parents also want me to be a doctor and not a cricketer and also afraid Please suggest what should I do

kumardurgesh1802 16th Oct, 2024

Hello Kartik,

Balancing your dream of becoming a cricketer with a desire to pursue medicine is a thoughtful and challenging situation. Since becoming a doctor is a stable and long-term career, it’s essential to keep academics as your priority for now. Focus on preparing for medical entrance exams like NEET and work hard towards achieving good grades. At the same time, you can pursue cricket as a serious passion by joining local clubs, academies, and school teams. This way, you're not giving up on either of your aspirations.

As you progress in both fields, you will have a better understanding of where your strengths lie. If you excel in cricket and see potential opportunities, like selections at district or state levels, you can consider pursuing it more seriously. However, having medicine as your backup plan ensures that you have a secure career if cricket doesn’t work out. Discuss your approach with your parents to show them you're serious about both options, which can help alleviate their concerns about your future.

San Parveen 24th Sep, 2024

the eligibility criteria for applying for NEET requires to have studied physics, chemistry and biology in your 12th grade

To apply for NEET you must have to take biology in your 11th and 12th if you have not studied biology then you are not eligible for NEET

and if you want to become a military doctor then there are other ways that you could try like if you have completed your medical degree with a recruited institute than you don't need a NEET  to become a military doctor

hi my neet pg 24 rank is 61286 ,sc category,in service doctor u.p government since 4 years.which branch n college can I get through AIQ n U.P state counseling.( Clinical branch)?

kumardurgesh1802 14th Oct, 2024

Hello there,

With a NEET PG 2024 rank of 61,286 , belonging to the SC category and being an in-service doctor in the UP government, your chances of getting a clinical branch through AIQ and UP state counseling are moderate but largely depend on:

  1. State Counseling (UP) : As an in-service doctor, you'll likely have some advantage in state quota counseling. You may have a chance at branches like Anesthesia, Dermatology, ENT, Psychiatry, or General Medicine in government or semi-government medical colleges.

  2. AIQ : The competition through AIQ is higher, but with the SC reservation and in-service status, you could have a chance at clinical branches like Pathology, Forensic Medicine, or Community Medicine in a lower-tier government college.

You should closely follow the cut-offs for in-service candidates in your state and the AIQ to get a better idea.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.
