Moreover the electronics department faculities are also very awesome ,labs are updated with latest technology and placement scenario is also very good . Yes , NIT Jalandhar is good to pursue M.Tech.in Electronics and Communication Engineering .The duration of the course is 2 years as it is a full time course .It is a PG degree course level . The total fees is approximately INR 2.28Lakh . Total Seat breaks is available for this course is 35-36.

The placement cell of this college is really active and after completion of the course candidates are being recruited by top companies like Adobe ,Axis Bank,Deloitte,Amazon,Hero Moto Corp,Make my trip,Jubilant, Microsoft,Nestle and many more .The salary is also handsome.The median salary is approximately 5.3 lakh .

As you mentioned that you have got 74 percentile in jee mains but even if i consider your sc category rank still it is a bit difficult to get into nit jalandhar as the cut off for is a bit high. The cut off for sc category is almost 9k.

So, try to keep your percentile atleast 80+ to be on a safer side.
