Hello candidate,
There are four distinct kinds of tragedy, and the poet should aim at bringing out all the important parts of the kind he chooses. First, there is the complex tragedy, made up of peripeteia and anagnorisis; second, the tragedy of suffering; third, the tragedy of character; and fourth, the tragedy of spectacle.

compare the Sanskrit epic and the Sanskrit drama
The main Sanskrit epics, the Mahabharata and the Ramayana, provide a large amount of data in the form of Sanskrit a little later than Vedic prose, and close to the classical Sanskrit language. There is considerably more evidence for transitive nouns and adjectives in epics than in Vedic prose, but compared to Rigveda, transitive nouns and adjectives are even less common and show less morphological variety. Again, statistical analysis shows that there is a clear correlation between transitivity and prediction.
Sanskrit drama is the fundamental basis of Indian theater and the success of today's Indian theater depends solely on it. The Sanskrit drama flourished in all its glory under the patronage of the court and the aristocracy until the 12th century, when the Muslim intrusion changed the Sanskrit scene. The glory of the Sanskrit drama became a thing of the past in the period of decline when it gradually divorced from the stage. But it still has relevance in popular theater today. The genuine development of the Sanskrit drama has in the true sense ceased, except that its few elements are still in practice. Modern Indian theater is under the great influence of Western philosophy, which neglected the traditional Sanskrit dramatic tradition. However, we cannot deny the importance of the Sanskrit dramatic tradition in the development of Indian theater.
