Hello, I am Pharmacy student confused with MPSC exam and Drug inspector MPSC exam. I want ask is both exam are same or MPSC separately conduct the exam for drug inspector post means on MPSC portal they provide date for drug inspector MPSC exam other than common MPSC exam? please clarify my doute.

MPSC conducted different exams.Some of them which are named by post such as PSI,STI,Asst. are only for that pist only.
But MPSC conducted State Service Exam each year which give posts of class 1 and class 2 officers and also other different posts.

I want to become drug inspector
To become a drug inspector the student is required to complete their 10+2 with physics, Chemistry and Biology as the compulsory subjects, there are certain entrance exams conduct by several Universities, such as banasthali Vidyapeeth aptitude test, National institute of pharmaceutical education and research joint entrance exam, Chhattisgarh Pre pharmacy test, Maharashtra common entrance test.
There are some bachelor's degree that you need to have to become a drug inspector such as B pharma, B pharma in clinical pharmacy, BSc in pharmacology and toxicology, B Pharma in biopharmaceutics etc.
After having a bachelor's degree in any relevant field, candidate need to qualify any of the government exam such as Union public service commision UPSC, state public service commision SPSC.

Some state authorities has a requirement of 18 months work experience of production or quality testing of schedule c drugs while some of the states do not have this requirement any experience.
It is possible to become drug inspector even after B. pharm after clearing exam.
you have to check your respective state for eligibility before applying it. To become a drug inspector, candidates are required to go through a selection process conducted by the UPSC and/ or SPSCs. The recruitment to the position of Drug Inspector is conducted by UPSC and also various state PSCs on an annual basis.

UPSC's and SPSC's conduct written exam for the posts of drug inspector every year you will have to appear and qualify for it alongwith personal interview to become a drug inspector.
The written exam consists of 2 parts
1) pharmacy 100MCQs - 200 marks - 2 hr duration.
2) General Knowledge 50 MCQs - 50 marks - 1 hr duration.

It is practically possible to become a drug inspector after graduating from a Pharm.D. All you need to do is to clear the state exams.
Checkout the respective state exam such as Gujarat public service commission regarding their syllabus and the application that needs to be filled before the deadline. After clearing the theory exam, you need to clear the personal interview. If you successfully clear both these round, you are set to be a drug inspector class 2 officer.
But As we say work harder to get more better results, so clearing UPSC will get you directly into CDSCO drug inspector.
Coming to the eligibility,
- B.Pharma. Or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology/ Microbiology.

Additional 18 months experience in manufacturing or testing of Schedule C or C1 drugs is also asked in UPSC but is not essential.
You will be safe for applying in most states if you satisfy above stated general eligibility conditions for the post of Drug Inspector. You should also be familiar with the local language and customs of the state for which you are applying. After written exam and document verification, medical exam is also conducted.

And Yes , you can apply for thr drug inspector job as this job has not any thumb rule for physically body fitness.

Drug Inspector Eligibility: To be eligible for getting a Drug Inspector for many qualifications is a Bachelor level in Pharmacy. For joining B. Pharmacy or equivalent course one ought to be 10+2 Course passes with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) as principal subjects. Then the aspiring candidates can sit for an Entrance Exam conducted by UPSC, Staff Selection Commission(SSC) or different state service selection boards.
