If you are enquiring about Anna University, College of engineering, Guindy campus, well the answer is no. With a cut off score of 170.5 in the BC category, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in the Anna university when comparing the results of previous years. Not only Anna University, even the top ten colleges are not possible with this cut off. But you have very good chances of getting a seat in the Colleges affiliated under Anna University through TNEA counseling. Also, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats, by which nothing can be predicted for sure as trends change every year. You can join this college either by TN Engg counselling or by Management quota.
For management quota, visit Srm Univ office in Chennai..and pay some lakhs and get your admission.

No you cannot convert Easwari college of engineering under EIe branch.
Chances ar emuch better with Sri sairam engineering college and Jeppiar engineering college for EIe branch in TNEA counselling.
