As a creative writer, would it be good to forge into journalism than English honours ?
English Honours is more about literature whereas journalism is based on the current events. Forging into journalism will be more beneficial as a content writer as you will have plenty of opportunity to create articles on your own way and style.
I have completed my 12th i further interested to study in Germany to become editor how to apply to university i have no idea
In order to apply for Bachelor's program, you need to satisfy one of the following criterias:
1. Successfully completing IB or any other internationally recognized exam with the required subject combination (in your case, it'll probably be Language, Media etc)
2. Passing the qualification assessment exam in Germany. This exam is conducted by universities in Germany to test your proficiency in the subjects that you need to know for your degree. This exam is called Feststellungspufrung (I'd suggest to look into this exam a bit more for proper information).
3. Successfully completing first year of your required field from a reputed university in India.
My suggestion would be to go for route 3, because you are familiar with the system here in India much better than you are in Germany. Also, getting admission here (provided you've secured decent enough marks) is easier. You'll also have an additional benefit of getting familiar with the course of your choice before moving to another country to pursue it further.
You also need to have a B1 level of fluency in German before taking admission in a German University.
If, however you want to opt for a Masters program after completing your Bachelor's program in India, the system is different.
A four year degree from South Asian countries is at par with a four year degree in Germany. If however, the bachelor's degree is of three years, there are other steps to be taken. Contact your university of choice and they'll brief you on it. Most universities consider exams like TOEFL, GRE , IELTS and GMAT. In your case, you'll most likely be writing TOEFL or GRE. GMAT is for Economics and Law.
You can visit the official website of DAAD for further information. Hope this helped :)
