EFLU has a placement cell that provides placement opportunities to final-year students. EFLU Hyderabad placement cell holds training for the students by organising various guest lectures, workshops, mock tests and interviews. This helps the students get prepared for the final placement drive. The placement cell invites top companies from various sectors to participate in the placement drive. After the confirmation from the companies, the placement cell informs the students about the placement drive. Companies will conduct group discussions, presentation sessions, writing tests, proficiency tests and interviews to select the students.

Companies from diverse sectors participate in EFLU Placements. Some popular EFLU recruiters are Amazon, Concentrix, IBM, Oracle, TCS, Toshiba, HP Global Business Services, Inrythm Solutions Pvt. Ltd., and Quantum Leap, among others.

During the EFLU Placements 2021, a total of 105 UG-3-year students got placed. The median salary offered to the UG-3-year students during this placement drive was Rs 3 Lakhs. The median salary of Rs 4 Lakhs was offered to the PG-2 year students. For the PG-1 year, only 23 students out of 33 students were eligible to sit in the EFLU Placement drive 2021. The median salary offered to PG-1-year students was Rs 4 Lakhs, according to NIRF Report 2021.

EFLU Hyderabad offers three-year Bachelor of Arts (BA) programmes. EFLU Hyderabad BA Programmes are offered in different specialisations. They include BA English Hons, BA Arabic Hons, BA French Hons, BA German Hons, BA Japanese Hons, BA Russian Hons, BA Spanish Hons, and BA English Hons.

EFLU Hyderabad offers a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in English. This is a full-time two-year Education department course. Candidates holding a BA in English degree with 50% marks OR MA in English with 50% marks OR Pursuing any of the qualifying degrees mentioned above (provided the candidate scores the minimum eligibility percentage stated above at the time of admission) are eligible to apply for the EFLU B.E. programme.

EFLU Hyderabad has the School of Distance Education (formerly known as the Department of Correspondence Courses). It was primarily set up to cater for the needs of in-service teachers of English. The department started by offering two teacher training programmes in the distance mode – a PG Certificate in the Teaching of English and a PG Diploma in the Teaching of English. Later, the MA programme was introduced by the department.
