i have done my diploma in Electrical and Electronics.I have to join Bsc please suggest the collegs.
hello aspirant,
I hope that you are doing absolutely great.
With reference to your above mentioned query, I would like to tell you that you can very much do Bsc after completing diploma in Electrical and electronics. You can get Bsc in Computer science or any other course in BSc in lateral admisison after doing and completing diploma in Electrical and electronics. But the only thing that will be difficult for you is the subject because you need to shift directly from Electrical and Electronics to Computer science. But, i'm pretty sure you can do that.
Further below are some of top universities in India for doing Bsc degree in lateral entry :
- Banaras Hindu University.
- Allahabad University.
- Delhi University.
- Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
- Aligarh Muslim University.
- Anna University.
- Lucknow University.

How is student life at NIT MIZORAM? Are there many students from North? How do you Rate Electrical and Electronics at NIT MIZORAM?
Dear aspirant,
Nit mizoram was established in the year 2010. It is comparatively newer nits compared to other nits and in addition to that it is considered among the lower nits like sringar, Nagaland , Arunachal Pradesh and a few more. The campus are is 190 acres and it's a beautiful one.
Regarding the branch which is electrical and electronics . It is a pretty decent and the placements in all over the college is not so strong as compared to other nits like Jamshedpur, durgapur, Silchar, allahabad rourkela Calicut.

I had completed my inter MPC, and i want to prepare for UPSC to become a civil servant. So, which branch is better Mechanical or Electrical and Electronics in b tech for UPSC optional subject?
Hi
The UPSC offers three engineering disciplines as optionals in the UPSC mains exam. They are civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering. They are indeed highly specialized subjects, and only engineering graduates are recommended to take them up as optionals. So you can take one of them. You have to choose an alternative subject in which you are comfortable to score high in UPSC mains. If the subject you took for graduation is available in the list of subjects given, it will be a comfortable option. A lot of candidates from an engineering background have performed well in the IAS exam. However, if a candidate wants to choose an optional subject based on their previous knowledge, if you have done btech in the given disciplines then the options reduce to Civil, Mechanical and Electrical engineering.
I had completed my inter MPC, and i want to prepare for UPSC to become a civil servant. So which branch is better Mechanical or Electrical and Electronics in b tech, for UPSC?
I would say, your UPSC preparation phase starts only towards the Final Years of Graduation or maybe while youre on your First Job. Otherwise the First 2-3 Years of Engineering you do need to deal with the branch you select in detail. Hence my suggestion would be select the Branch where your interest lies. If you and your Studies are well synchronized during Engineering, your activitues in day to day life somewhat get sorted, besides you giving time to your interests or UPSC CSE Preparation. However, Electrical Engineering is much tougher than Mechanical Engineering in Curriculum, hence this might be a point to consider. Secondly Mechanical Engineering, has a strong scope even in Private, PSU and Public Research Sectors across Domains.

pls suggest bits pilani electrical and electronics Or iit kanpur chemical Or iit goa computer science
See IIT Kanpur Chemical Engineering will give you a better prospective even in your non core fields. SO if you get a chance in IIT K then just go for it, its one of the finest IIT's in India and the experience you will get there is incomparable. Now if you are really interested in CS then you go for IIT GOA also. Its one of the new IIT's but its also performing very well in terms of academics and have the potential to be in the top 10 IIT's in few years. If you get chance in IIT's then going for BITS is quite unnecessary.

Today the councelling VITEEE results came and I got into Electrical and Electronics branch, Category 1 in Vellore Campus, which was my 6th choice. My rank in VITEEE is 5800 and my priority is CSE in Vellore branch category 1/2 Is there any chance that there can be an upgradation in the branch?
Hi Aspirant!
You can try for upgradation and also can sit for category -2 to get your desired branch. And their are decent chances that you might easily get Information Technology followed by Electrical and Electronics or ECE. But if you specifically want CSE, then I would suggest you to either go for other campus or apply in other college if you do not get CSE even after upgradation.
Thankyou!
