If I pursue Mtech in Embedded systems, Is this eligible to become professor in electrical and electronics department?
Hi Aspirant,
That really depends on college to college but if you are having Mtech in Embedded systems then you can become assistant professor in electrical and electronics department but to become professor in most renowned universities you need to have a degree in the respective fields.Competition are much higher these days and obviously the one having degree in Electronics and electrical will get selected first.
Hope it helps!
can i get into karaikal NIT computer science course or electrical and electronics communication course with 67.11%through csab, I am in category of OBC-NCL of home town
According to your qouted details it's not possible for you to get into any NIT ,. GFTI and IIT through jossa or csab councelling.
You need to score rank ( CRL ) atleast under 10,000
To claim your chances.
I would suggest you to go for other Engineering entrance and state level entrance exams.
You can also predict your future college on basis of jee main score using the link given below- https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Difference between- 1)Electrical and Electronics Enginnering 2)Electrical Enginnering And what should be priority order for JoSAA counciling (JEE 2020) ??
Electrical engineering is an engineering discipline concerned with the study, design and application of equipment, devices and systems which use electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism.
The electrical & electronics engineering (EEE) involves with the power. It can be existed in various forms like turbine, hydro, gas, fuel cell, solar, wind or geothermal energy. It involves the use, storage and generation of the power and energy.
Electrical engineering is a vast subject that EEE.

Well now coming about priority.
Both the branches have well future scopes.
Electrical engineering is the core course and EEE is a branch of electrical engineering.
Choice is yours which one to keep at the top in your priority list.
Good luck!!
Thank you.
Which branch is better to choose? Electronics and communication or electrical and electronics?
Hi,
Electronics and communication engineering is a branch where you study electronics and some parts of communication whereas electrical engineering is the branch with electrical and electronics subjects. When you check the cut off trends, you can see that the EC branch has a lower cut off than EEE. This is because EC branch has more job opportunities in recent world than EEE as it involves the more of digital technology and communication. But this was not the situation 10 years back, that time EEE was more difficult to get than EC.
Also, your interest matters the most. Try finding what is best for you as per your aptitude.
Hope this was helpful!
cbit civil or vnr vjiet ece?? which is best gimme reasons
Hello.,
As per the courses electronics have more good choice in the IT field more than of civil. But both have good opportunities in the placement i.e., upto 75 to 80%. It mostly depends on your choice of interest in which course you want to join but ece is more preferred than civil.
Now coming to the college both are one of the best engineering colleges. CBIT is an autonomous institute approved by AICTE. It's rank in NIRF is 124th rank. As it is autonomous it has high career oriented opportunities. The median package for the students of B.Tech from any stream is 3 to 4 lakh per annum.
You can check the link below to know more about the colleges

Vnr Vjiet is also a private college and one of the reputed engineering college. Its NIRF rank is 127th rank. The college placement is 75% and the median package is around 4 to 4.5 lakh per annum.
Hope this difference made you have a clear point about the colleges.
Good luck

Hey there
Your rank is low and thus seeing previous cutoffs your chances of getting NITs, IIITs, GFTIs. You should go for other engineering colleges under jee mains or under other entrance exams if you have applied.
