Mera rank 35000 hai kyu mujhe mirzapur ke polytecnic college me mechanical production ya electrical trade mil skata hai 6 round me

Ankur Mehta 12th Aug, 2025

Bro, with a rank of 35,000, getting into Mirzapur’s government polytechnic for Mechanical Production or Electrical in Round 6 is not guaranteed, but still possible. Last year, Government Polytechnic Mirzapur’s closing rank for Electrical was only around 6,976 in Round 6

But Government Polytechnic Rajgarh (Mirzapur area) gave seats for Mechanical & Automation up to 8,569 in its Round 2 closing rank .

So, here's the deal:

If your rank is close and you have category reservation, your chances improve.

Mechanical Production in newer institutes like Rajgarh might still have seats.

Electrical is more competitive since cutoff is much lower.

My advice? Apply in Round 6, keep options open beyond Mirzapur too, and stay ready to take that seat if it comes!

Mera rank 35000 hai kyu mujhe mirzapur ke polytecnic college me mechanical production ya electrical trade mil skata hai 6 round me

Nikita shahi 11th Aug, 2025

Hi!

With a rank of 35,000, you still have a fair chance of getting Mechanical Production or Electrical trade in Mirzapur Polytechnic, especially in the later counselling rounds. In the first 2–3 rounds, cut-offs are higher, but by the 5th and 6th rounds, many seats open up as candidates upgrade to better colleges. Keep participating in all rounds and don’t skip reporting if allotted. Also, look at nearby government polytechnic colleges as backup options, since they might have similar courses and better seat availability. Stay ready with documents like domicile, caste certificate (if applicable), and mark sheets to avoid delays during admission. Many students with higher ranks get trades in later rounds simply because they remain active in the counselling process.

nit andhrapradesh electronics and electrical or nit rai pur chemical or iiit kanchipuram mechanical duel degree

gopi 5th Aug, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

If placements and prospects are your aim, then:

  1. NIT Andhra Pradesh EEE: This will lead to good core and IT related opportunities as well as opportunities as an engineer in government exams and various core companies and coding roles.
  2. NIT Raipur Chemical: Chemical has few core jobs and most students switch to IT. This is somewhat less flexible than EEE.
  3. IIIT Kancheepuram Mechanical (Dual Degree): Although a dual degree will provide more research exposure, mechanical engineering has fewer core jobs. Placements are improving but still evolving.

Hello my name is harsh end iam electrical engineering student sem 1 ld engineering college me kitne 10 me marks hone chaiye to admission milega

Nikita shahi 3rd Aug, 2025

Hi Harsh!

If you’re in your 1st semester of electrical engineering and want to change to another engineering college, you typically don’t need 10th class marks for admission unless you're applying fresh through management or lateral entry. However, some colleges may ask for your 10th and 12th marks for their internal assessment. Generally, you’ll need to apply through a migration process, and most colleges want a minimum of 50–60% in 10th. But the real focus will be on your current academic record, transfer certificate , no objection certificate , and university approval. Visit the new college for exact transfer process.

All the best!

I want to take admission in govt. polytechnic college i want to pursue electrical engineering. Kindly tell me whats the procedure

Chelsie G 2nd Aug, 2025

If you want to take admission in a government polytechnic college for electrical engineering, then the first step is to appear for the state level polytechnic entrance exam. For example, in Uttar Pradesh it's JEECUP, and in other states there are similar exams. Based on your rank in that exam, you'll get a chance to attend counselling where you can choose electrical engineering and select government colleges according to your preference. Once a seat is allotted, you’ll have to complete the document verification and pay the admission fee to confirm your seat.
