How demanding is IIT kharagpur EE? I am unable to decide between IIT kharagpur EE and IIT roorkee ECE. Can anyone please give me a fair comparison between them?
Core branches are always demanding in nature so you will have to work hard in core branches. Coming to the comparison you mentioned i would suggest you too go ahead with iit roorkee ece as ece is a branch that is related to it industry hence better placement scenarios are there whereas ee is a core branch and placements are not as great as ece comparing both the colleges iitkgp and iitr so there is nothing separating them they are both masters of their domain the only deciding factor maybe the branch in which iitr ece might win so choose wisely.
i have done poltechnic after 10 th in electrical and after that i do b tech can i give the upsc paper i dont have i didnt do 12

can i change my branch after diploma in textile engineering to btech in electrical engineering
See if you wish to take admission through the lateral entry, then the trade of your Diploma doesn't matters. So if you are from Textile Engineering trade then obviously you can go for the course of BTech in Electrical Engineering. You should keep in mind, that you need to have good score in your Diploma or the lateral entry examination in order to get Electrical Engineering as Electrical Engineering is a trade which is preferred by a lot of students. So the competition is high in this field. So do try to score as much as possible in order to get a seat in Electrical Engineering.
