Electrical Engineering
Hi aspirant,
If I am not wrong, you must be talking about Kalinga institute of industrial technology. See if you are allotted any seat through the counselling you need to pay a sum of rupees 75000 to confirm your seat provisionally. The term provisional is important as it signifies that it is not locked and you can further update it if you perform better in the next phases of the examination. The amount paid would be adjusted in case you get any upgrade in the further phases of examination.
Please also note that your admission will be confirmed only once you fulfill the minimum percentage criteria set up by institution which is 45 percentage aggregate.
Also you can take back your admission if you are get any other good college and the refunds would be made according to the the rules of UGC.
Hope it helps!

Hello dear,
The eligibility criteria to appear for the GATE exams have been relaxed by IIT Bombay from the minimum 10+2+4 (ongoing) to a minimum of 10+2+3 (ongoing). This will enable even those in the third year of their undergraduate studies to appear for the examination. Hello aspirant,
With reference to yoru above mentioned query, i would like to tell you that it is really difficult to predict the exact number of colleges (NIT's or BITS Colleges) you can get with thsi GATE Score and rank in 2022. This is because the GATE Qualifying Cutoff varies every year and is different for different category students.
The GATE Qualifying Cutoff depends on several factors like :
The difficulty level of GATE 2022 question paper
Total number of GATE 2022 applicants
Previous years cutoffs trends
Availability of seats (Department-wise or discipline-wise)
However, looking at the GATE 2021 Cutoff trends. the minimum GATE Scores that was needed for GEneral category for EE was around 30.3.
Further, to get any top IIT's, BITS or NIT's for EE in 2022 as a general category, you need to score a minimum Cutoff GATE Rank within 1000 or 2000 to be on the safer side.
Further, you can also look out the Gate Qualifying Cutoff for EE for previous year by following the link below : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/gate-cutoff-for-ee
