Sir i have 81% percentile in sc catagory pls suggest the college ECE or CSE Branches or othrer brances EE or ME
If you score 81%ile in the jee mains and you belong to the sc category, then your rank will be around 21k to 22k in the sc category, so with this rank, there is no chance to get any good nits or iiits with your desired branch, so you have to participate in different state engineering counselling too, like JAC Delhi, JAC Punjab, Comedk, etc., there is a very high chance to get a better collab with ECE and CSE
.
I got 95.6441319 percentile in mains 1st attempt in 2024 . which nit should I get my category is EWS and I want only cs or electrical branch only.
Your Overall Rank will be in the range of 45012 - 50600.
And talking about your chances in NIT, yes you do have a chances in some NITs like: NIT Agartala Srinagar.
To know in detail you can check your chances through our
FREE College Predictor.
All the best.
which college cse or ece or ee one can get at 98 percentile jee-mains for girl
Although the cutoff or admission is given to any university is based on rank. Your overall percentile in JEE seems to be good. So might be be able to get admission in some NITs or GFTIs.
You have a very good score that opens up various options for admission and as a female candidate you may also benefit from gender based reservation policies in some institutions.
Here are some NITs and GFTIs where you may have chance.
- National Institute of Technology, Warangal
- National Institute of Technology, Trichy
- National Institute of Technology, Surathkal
- National Institute of Technology, Calcutta
- National Institute of Technology, Roukela
- Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad
- Indian Institute of Information, Allahabad
- Indian Institute of Information, Hyderabad
Question : Direct conversion of solar energy with the use of a photo voltaic cell results in the production of
Option 1: Optical energy
Option 2: Electrical energy
Option 3: Thermal energy
Option 4: Mechanial energy
Correct Answer: Electrical energy
Solution : The correct option is electrical energy.
The photovoltaic effect is a mechanism used by photovoltaic cells, also referred to as solar cells, to transform light energy from the sun directly into electrical energy. When photons, the light particles hit a solar cell's surface, their energy is transferred to the material's electrons, causing this effect. These electrons get activated by the energy of the photons, which causes them to flow as an electric current. The generated current can then be harnessed and used to power electrical equipment, or it can be stored in batteries for later use.
Sir, i recently completed my BTech degree in electrical engineering but i found myself naturally more interested in mechanical engineering.i want to join drdo as mechanical engineering scientist through GATE.what options are for me sir?
Hello,
Hope you are doing great.
I regret to inform you that, you cannot apply for the DRDO exam by way of Mechanical Engineering course. As the application will ask you for the Btech degree in Mechanical Engineering. So, you only have two options now. You can either start the Mechanical Course freshly, or you can join DRDO from your stream itself.
Hope this helps!!
Question : The brain receives and sends signals in the form of _____.
Option 1: Chemical impulses
Option 2: Magnetic impulses
Option 3: Mechanical impulses
Option 4: Electrical impulses
Correct Answer: Electrical impulses
Solution : The correct option is Electrical impulses.
Electrical impulses or action potentials are used by the brain to transmit signals. These are fast changes in the electrical potential across neuron cell membranes that allow communication, and information transmission between different regions of the nervous system, and throughout the body.
Question : What type of energy conversion takes place in a battery?
Option 1: Chemical energy into light energy
Option 2: Chemical energy into electrical energy
Option 3: Mechanical energy into chemical energy
Option 4: Chemical energy into sound energy
Correct Answer: Chemical energy into electrical energy
Solution : The correct answer is Chemical energy into electrical energy.
In a battery, chemical energy is converted into electrical energy. This process involves a chemical reaction within the battery's cells. The chemical components of the battery, such as the anode and cathode, undergo reactions that release electrical energy. When the battery is connected to a device or a circuit, this electrical energy is then used to power electronic devices, such as flashlights, smartphones, or other portable gadgets.
Question : Read the following statements of Assertion (A) and Reason(R) and choose the correct alternative:
Assertion (A): Consumers are educated that they should use ISI marked electrical appliances as ISI mark gives an assurance of such products meeting quality specifications.
Reason (R): Many consumer organisations and business firms are also taking an active part in educating consumers.
Option 1: Both A and R correct and R is the correct explanation of A.
Option 2: A is correct and R is wrong.
Option 3: A is wrong and R is correct
Option 4: Both A and R are correct but R is not the correct explanation of A.
Correct Answer: Both A and R are correct but R is not the correct explanation of A.
Solution : It is the right to safety that consumers are educated that they should use ISI marked electrical appliances as ISI mark gives an assurance of such products meeting quality specifications. It is the right of consumer education that consumer acquire knowledge and skills to be an informed consumer.
Hence, option D is correct.
