Will some NITs may accept gate IN Score to do mtech in VLSI eventhough in CCMT website it is showing only gate EC Score is allowed?? suppose gate EC score cut-off for MNIT jaipur,Bhopal Allowing only EC students cutoff 540..if i get 570 score in Instrumentation paper..can i apply to Those NITs??
Hello,
No, you cannot get admission to M.Tech Very large-scale integration (VLSI) if you have appeared for GATE Instrumentation paper. In CCMT counselling the qualifying and GATE paper are mapped with Institute, Department and the course. So you need to check the mapping of qualifying and GATE paper are mapped with Institute, Department and the course which is available on the CCMT website: https://ccmt.nic.in/CCMTRegistration2021/Report/SeatMapping.aspx?boardid=105012121
Even if you have scored more than the cut off score you will not be allotted seat in an NIT if your GATE paper and qualifying examination is not as per the seat mapping of the institute, department and course.
