should i pick ec in pes over cs in bangalore institute of technology
Yes you should. Because Electronics and Communication Engineering is a very important course, PES University is indeed a better choice. Starting with placements, it's assured and you can expect starting Package of 4-7 LPA. Great learning system, helpful Faculties, nice infrastructure, well equipped labs are few more characteristic of this course. Your academic and campus life both would be embraced.
Good luck!!

B.e ec in kle tech hubli or cse in reva which is better option
HI
Just go for cse at reva ,as it has good scope towards future .
If you are passionate in electronics and if your hometown is hubli just go for ece.
Because travelling too matters and if you are staying in hostels fees too matter
But altlast i would like to say cse from which ever college has good scope for placements
all the best
I have got nit surathkal civil in josaa my ews rank is 8924 female hs Karnataka can I get nit surathkal cs,it,ec or eee in csab counselling?
Hello aspirant ,
First of all congratulations for getting such a good rank in JOSAA councelling as your rank is 8924 .
Since you've mentioned that you have got civil engineering seat in nit surathkal in karnataka , but you want much better branches in the same college - nit surathkal through CSAB counselling.
So , seeing the previous year cutoff trends in CSAB round counsellings , there is high chance for you to grab a seat in cs , it , ee , eee but may be in different colleges of karnataka . If you want to take admissions in karnataka , so nit surathkal works best for you but if you want to take admission in any of your other preferred branch then you have to go for other colleges .
You can also check your admission probabilities in other private colleges , GFTI , NITS according to your rank/percentile with the help of college predictor tool here :

I hope that this will help.
should i pick ec in pes rr campus over cse in bit
Hello there,
CSE at the PES RR campus is regarded as one of the best engineering schools in the state (except NITK of course). The ECE department isn't far behind, and the EC and CS departments, as I've seen, are both very forward-thinking and have excellent faculty. when it comes to PES RR campus, it is one of the best engineering colleges in Karnataka, and it is quite old. However, PES EC is new and does not correspond to PES RR placements. The placements at PES RR campus, especially in the CS branch, are incredible, whereas the placements at PES EC campus are not. It all depends on your true passion, though you can always branch out into other fields later. Choose solely on the basis of your passion. Because both institutions are now part of the same university (PESU), the quality of education will be consistent.
Hope that Answers Your question

which is better cs in bit or ec in pes(ring road campus)
Dear Aspirant,
BIT has a better brand name from the past than PES. And also CSE is far better than ECE in the aspects of placements and programming. But if you are interested in electrical engineering you may take up ECE. In my terms, I suggest you join CSE in BIT
i got ECE in NIT SRINAGAR and will get IT in Round 6 pls suggest me which is better to join?? ECE or IT i have totally zero knowledge about computer, Programming, language.....i am afraid if i didnt did well after taking IT as its syllabus matches CSE a lot
Dear student, You may have the chances to get into IT if seats were available, I suggest you to try until the last round so that you may get what you are interested in.
Don’t be afraid of computer programming, NIT srinagar is well Known for its teaching they will help you in all aspects of learning computer and it’s languages. Both IT and CSE have equal importance. It does have a similar syllabus the only difference is an IT student implements the technology and CSE student focus on design and use of computers. But it may be difficult for you to get CSE you can try for CSE with specialisations and IT
I got EC in 2nd allotement in punnapra college and i joined in that college. But i forget to delete other options. In 3rd allotement i got production engineering at thrissur , which i dont want to study.what should i do to study electronics and communication(EC)?
Hello ,
the only option left is to participate in spot admission in the college and branch you want , if seats are vacant and you have good luck then you will get the desired branch and college which you want , nothing else can be done if you forget to delete other higher options
Hope this helps you ,
Best wishes for your future
I got 98782 rank in kcet .I am sc student and rural cota is applicable. In which engineering collage I get seat for Is,Cs and Ec only.I want seat around Mysore, Mandya, Hassan, Bengalore. Also I cleared jee mains with 68%.
Dear Student ,
As per your KCET rank and through Rural quota , you can get the following colleges based on your preferred locations with desired branches(CSE,ECE,IT) according to last year KCET cutoff database :
- MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bangalore- (ECE Cutoff-112386)
- Maharaja Institute of Technology, Mysore (CSE Cutoff-99478, IS cutoff-145958)
- PES College of Engineering, Mandya (ECE Cutoff-116321, IS-148421)
- Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering, Mysore (IT Cutoff-119315)
- RNS Institute of Technology, Bangalore (IT Cutoff-107866) and some more
Well, the above prediction can't be accurate as every year the cut off can vary for some factors like :
- Seat Matrix
- Difficulty level of exams
- No of students appeared etc.
Still, you can use this KCET college predictor link for your reference :
