Hi, according to the cut-off list mentioned by the VJTI on the internet it lies around 96% for the given branch. Also, it was for the first round. With that been said, the chances of you getting into VJTI for direct second year are slim. I would recommend you to still give it a try. All the best!

Your marks are good but not that much good so you can take admission in Thapar through merit basis. You need minimum 90% to get any of the branch in Thapar for the safe side. And for CSE your percentage should be more than 97%.

As you wants to take admission in electronics and computer engineering so the you need more than 95%.

The data I've given above is for the previous year where only 30% seats are filled by merit bases but this year they take their 100% admission only through the merit basis so may be you can see the fall in cutoff but not that much so that you can get electronics and computer engineering with 78% marks.

Out of the three options that you chose, VVCE is the best among the three, the college covers the updates curriculum of Computer Science Engineering, has good infrastructure, plenty opportunities to explore, experienced faculties and departmental labs are well maintained.
