I am female candidate from Westbengal have 88 percentile in July JEE main session. may I get any middle category NIT for chemical engineering..or Metallergy ..or Electronics and communication...or IT ? Not interested for North East states and Jammu kashmir .
You did not mention your category. So if you are a general category student then 88 percentile is not enough to qualify JEE Main. The expected cutoff this year is in between 90-95. And when you do not qualify JEE Main, then getting any of the NIT is not possible.
However there are many state counsellins like that for M.P Punjab and so on, in which you can participate.
Also you can check for othet possibilities on the college predictor tool link mentioned below.

Which is more better option to pursue: BE CSE from BITS HYDERABAD/ GOA campus OR BE ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION from BITS PILANI campus? And why?
Dear Aspirant,
Here is a quick review for CSE and ECE.
ECE is about electronics and how the different electrical components (Microprocessor, RAM etc) communicate with each other. It has more Physics in it. There is a little programming involved but not much. CSE deals with telling these components what to do and when to do it; by programming them.
So in ECE you have deal with harwares and little much programming is needed to develop the hardware whereas th CSE is totally based on programming. So choose the branch throughly. And currently looking into market scenario CSE is the most preferred branch and ECE is the second most preferred branch.
BITS GOA:-
Placements: Almost 99.9% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered in our course is 40 LPA by PhonePe in Bangalore. The average salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 10 LPA. A top recruiting company that visit our campus for placements is Amazon. About 90% of the students got an internship in different product-based companies.
Infrastructure: The college provides good facilities in the labs. Labs are very good. Wi-Fi facility is available along with LAN cable at a 20 Mbps speed. Classrooms are well-maintained. There is no attendance rule. The hostel facility is also good, and the food served in the mess is also good. Students get food 4-times, and night mess is also available. Some times students get Manchurian and sandwich, and some times pav bhaji. It serves awesome and tasty food. The library is well-maintained. E-library is also available here. Many books are available in the library.
Faculty: All faculty members in our college are PhD holders and doctorate. Their teaching quality is very good. It is a very good college, so the teachers are very helpful. Students need some effort for placement. The course curriculum is relevant, and all teachers guide for interview preparation.
BITS Pilani:-
Placements: 90% students are placed. The highest package offered - 35LPA at Least - 7LPA. Nutanix, Qualcomm, Oracle were the top recruiters. 15% got internships on their own. Software developer, Member of technical staff, Automation Engineer, Associate Product Manager, Devops, Supply chain, Business Analyst roles were offered.
Infrastructure: The campus is fully Wi-Fi accessible, every room is provided with internet. The classrooms and labs are sophisticated with good equipment. Library is huge. Quality of facility - 10/10. The whole campus is equipped with great food outlets, messes, sports facilities. All of them are top class.
Faculty: 90% of the teachers are qualified. Few professors are amazing. You have a PS programme which makes us industry-ready. Coming to the course curriculum, students have the choice of choosing their own course of interest for study. Zero attendance policy gives more flexibility for the students to attend classes by different professors.
Bits pilani is better than it's goa campus . As bits pilani is better than all of the three campuses of bits. It is also considered to better than many nit and IIT.

Dear student,
You may get some good branches but not the CSE and ECE like branches, for that you need to cross the marks rang ef 310. You may get branches like civil, chemical, or mechanical.
There is a chance that you get ECE like branches in Goa and Hyderabad campus but you will not get at Pilani campus.
Good Luck :)

I am currently persuing B. Tech in Electronics and Communication. Can i apply for PESSAT for M.Tech in Computer Science?
Yes, you can.
You can do a MTech in CSE after doing BTech in Electronics, but your GATE Paper must be Computer Science and IT. There is no problem in this process. Many students change their branches in Masters . If you want to study CSE you should.
For PES university, here is the eligibility criteria.
For admission to M. Tech programmes, an applicant possessing qualifications mentioned below is eligible to apply:
- The applicant must have a bachelor degree in engineering from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 60%
- The applicant should have a valid PESSAT, PGCET or GATE score to apply.
Hope it helps. Thank you.
sir,Which course is better whether Electronics and communication Engg or Electronics and Computer Engg, in VIT chennai campus.Give your valuable suggestion.
Hello,
Electronics and Communication Engineering is one of the oldest field and also a prime field which has a huge popularity among the students and this is the reason that it also require a higher cutoffs. Now in this particular field you will be learning whole electronics and also some parts of computer as well which makes you eligible to get placed in any of the Tech company as well. The Electronics and Computer Engineering is the mixture and Sub-Branch of the Electronics and CSE field, in this field you study about Electronics and Computer but compare to ECE it has more of the computer knowledge and in this case also you get selected in Tech companies. Hence this is some of the major difference which we can see between both if this fields.
Thank you..
