will i get instrumentation or electronics in AEC. MY cee rank 2400 and caste ST(P)
Dear Aspirant,
Atfirst congratulations for your rank.
We all know that since the official cut-off details from the Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU), conducting authority of Assam Combined Entrance Examination (ACEE) hasn't released till now, it's quite impossible for anyone to make any accurate remark about the precise cut-off marks for this year of any college.
So I would like to recommend you to go through this following Careers360 article:
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/assam-cee-cutoff
https://www.careers360.com/colleges/assam-engineering-college-guwahati
Though the cut-off marks will vary every year depending upon several determining factors (like number of appeared canditates, number of successful candidates, total number of available seats, highest marks of ACEE 2022, difficulty level of question paper etc), still as per our assumption and after thoroughly analysing the previous year's cut-off details it can be definitely estimated that since you're an ST(P) category student you've enough possibilities to get admitted in your desired college i.e. Assam Engineering College, Guwahati in instrumentation department, but there might be little difficulties in ECE department.
You can easily get chance in any other departments in this renowned institutions like Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Telecommunication etc.
Moreover your rank is perfectly suitable for many other Government and private engineering colleges in your state Assam, you can check there also.
Hope you'll get benefitted with the answer.
Wish you all the best.

in bsc course computer science and electronics combination is the best or not
Hello,
If, for any reason, you choose B Sc computer science and electronics than BE or Btech.
The advantages that can be recognised are as follows:
- Compared to B.E., the fees are quite inexpensive. I estimate that over the course of four years, you may save between three and six lakhs. The majority of options can be near your hometown, saving you money on things like lodging costs.
- less classes mean more free time so :-
- improvement of skills.
- preparing for college entrance exams.
- preparing for government employment.
Thank You
can i get admission in btech electronics on the bases of +2 marks
Dear Neeraj,
You will get a seat in Electronics in private colleges only through direct quota or management which costs a lot more than Government college, but the perk of government college is a lot nowadays. But what matters is the skill and interest to which you are gonna devote your life. So, hope you are understanding.

What is the difference between Electrical Engineering (EE) , Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) , Electronics and Telecommunications (ENTC) , Information Technology (IT) , Computer Science Engineering (CSE) and other technological branches for Btech etc. ( please suggest detailed info.)
Electrical engineering (EE) is the study of how electricity, electronics, and electromagnetic are applied.
Electronics and communications engineering (ECE) is the study, development, and testing of electronic devices utilised in a variety of systems.
Electronics and Telecommunications (ENTC): This subject focuses on the telecommunications, electrical, and electronics departments and deals with the expertise of combining hardware and software components.
Although there may be a few differences in their study methods, EnTC and ECE are essentially the same.
Information technology (IT) is the use of technology to handle and alter information/data. It involves using computers, networks, storage, and other technical infrastructure, both hardware and software, to solve organisational and business challenges.
Computer Science Engineering (CSE): includes fundamental knowledge of computer programming and networking.

hello my son got 10230 rank in mains and 255 marks in vhits can u suggest best university (iit or nit or bits) preferrred computers and electronics
Greetings!
Sir, at 255 marks it is not going to be possible for your son to get CSE or Electronics in BITS, so your best bet is going to NITs and IIITs.
In NITs or IIITs, now considering about 10K rank and that you belong to general, category, your son should be able to get ECE in SVNIT, or NITs that rank around it.
In IIITs you can get IIIT Guwahati/Lucknow CSE, or IIITs of similar range.
Now the thing that you need to know is that in case of IIITs/NITs sometimes a lot depends on home state quota too, so if your native state has a really good NIT/IIIT then you must also try there, for example if you are a resident of Delhi, then you have really good chance of getting CSE related courses in IIIT Delhi, which is a much better than mentioned options, as I have not considered any reservations whatsoever.
To get a more knowledge on which colleges your son can get, you can use the following predictor
