in kcet my rank is 67096 and my family income is 40000 and my category is 2A and hk quota.can i get cs engineering seets
Predicting an exact seat with your KCET rank (67096), category (2A), HK quota, and desired course (CS Engineering) is difficult.
The official KCET seat matrix released by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) specifies the number of seats available under each quota (including HK) for various colleges and courses. This hasn't been released yet, but you can monitor the KEA website.
While not a guarantee, analyzing previous years' cut-offs for CS Engineering under the 2A and HK quota in government colleges can give you a sense of the competition level. Look for resources like Careers360 KCET cutoffs but remember, cut-offs change every year.
With a rank of 67096, it might be challenging to secure a CS Engineering seat in a government college, especially under the 2A and HK quota. These quotas typically have higher cut-offs due to limited seats.
Sometimes, seats remain unfilled in subsequent counselling rounds. You might have a better chance of securing a seat in these rounds. Several private engineering colleges in Karnataka accept KCET scores for admissions. Explore these options, considering fee structures and placement records. Consider applying for other engineering branches with lower cut-offs in government colleges under your quota. You can always pursue higher studies in AI or Machine Learning later.

my son score in Jee mains session 1 is 201. what would be his percentile and how much he sh score jn session 2 exams for engineering admission
Hello,
since the January 2024 JEE Mains session 1 result is out, your son must have got and checked his percentile.
The student's percentile is the NTA score mentioned in the scorecard. NTA score and percentile is the same thing.
Talking about the rank, the rank of the student is released along with the final result after the April session-2 of JEE Mains. If your son is planning to give the second attempt, then his score will depend on factors like his preparation, difficulty level of the paper, cutoff trends, etc. I suggest to prepare well and give your best in the second attempt to get a good score.
If you want to check your rank range based on your percentile, then you can refer to the Careers360 JEE Main Rank Predictor: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor?

My daughter is in 12 th Std & final exam started now.I applied for caste validity but yet i have not received & time is very short to take first year engineering admission.is it caste validity certificate required at time of first year engineering admission or can submit later on.What is protocol?
Hello sir,
Hope you are doing great.
In general, if you have opted at the time of application form that you belong to a specific caste category, then you are supposed to submit the caste certificate during the admission process. However, you can give them a written statement specifying that you will submit the caste certificate in future. But remember that, it is completely at the discretion of the college authorities as to accept or reject the written statement. So, after taking their permission, provide the written statement.
Hope this helps!
