is dual course better than individual B.Tech and M. tech
Hello Aspirant!
There were various factors in Engineering which decides Dual course better or not. It also differ according to the stream selection in Engineering. I think the dual-degree programs are fantastic, but why go for an early commitment. And if the MTech part of the dual degree is in a specialized area, that should be avoided. When students don't even know the difference between Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, asking them to commit that they will work on "Power" or "Wireless" or "VLSI" after three or four years is simply ridiculous.
But there were certain benefits of pursuing dual degree:
- A major advantage of a dual degree program is saving money. This is because earning a dual degree is typically faster than earning each degree individually. This could mean not having to pay for an extra year or two of schooling.
- Having two degrees allows for more professional options. Having two degrees means graduates will have twice the number of potential jobs they are qualified for.
- Single biggest advantage of a dual degree is students can save at least one year of schooling time.
- Access to alumni networks from each respective college or department, along with the connections made with classmates, will be valuable for advancing a professional career.
With advantages there are various disadvantages like: Short-Term Cost ,Real World Experience Still Helpful ,Intense Studying ,Putting a Professional Career on Hold. So it differ from person to person , what they want to purse in there life.
Thank You!
