which are the top 4 engineering courses except computer science?
Hello,
Here is the list of top 4 engineering courses
- Mechanical Engineering: It is a branch of engineering which deals with machines; their production, design, and operation. Mechanical Engineers play a vital role in various industries such as energy conversion, biotechnology , computers, electronics , aerospace , and countless others.
- Aerospace Engineering: It inculcates the skills and knowledge to design, manufacture and maintain spacecraft, missiles and weapons systems. Aerospace Engineering deals with two major and overlapping branches- Aeronautical Engineering and Astronautical Engineering.
- Electrical Engineering: It deals with the understanding, designing of electronic devices and equipment, and application of concepts to electricity. Electrical engineering is a branch of science concerned with power electronics and creates efficient and reliable electronic systems.
- Automation and Robotics: There is high scope for a candidate with automation and robotics as the new technologies are mostly based on the automation and robotics. Automation and Robotics line of engineering majorly relies on the principle of artificial intelligence and encompasses the process involved from designing the prototype to building the final resourceful output.

I am aspiring to be an astronaut. currently, I am studying in class 12. will opting for aeronautical engineering do me any good? which is the best type of engineering i should opt for to ensure the astronaut career path? are aeronautical and aerospace different engineering courses? which is better?
Hello,
To become an astronaut a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, either in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, chemistry or biology (STEM field), or Aeronautical/Aerospace engineering. But a higher university degree like Master’s/PhD will be of added value.
Now coming to the two courses, Aerospace is a branch of engineering, where you get to learn design, building, testing and maintenance of civil aircraft, missiles, space shuttles, rockets, space stations and other such units. On the other hand, Aeronautical engineering is a sub division field of Aerospace Engineering and deals with the study of designing and building aircraft such as aeroplanes and helicopters. In simpler words Aeronautical engineering Relates to machines that fly within the earth’s atmosphere, wheres as Astronautical engineering includes the study related to spacecraft such as rockets, space stations and shuttles.
Now a degree in both the fields would be fine, but it would be better to do it in Aerospace Engineering.
Also if it is your dream to become an astronaut, you should also keep in mind that physical fitness plays an important role and so it is very much important that you take care of your health and maintain fitness.

my name is sanjay i am studing in 11 pure science group can i do engineering courses
Hi
What do you mean by pure science?
Can you please help us with the subject you have ?
Do you have physics, chemistry and Maths?
The basic eligibility criteria to be eligible for engineering is that you must have studied Maths and Physics along with one of - Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology or Technical Vocational Subject.
For example,
Here's eligibility criteria of few of the entrance examinations in India for engineering. :-
JEE MAIN ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Eligibility criteria says that to be eligible for JEE mains 2021 for BE or Btech you should be either appearing for 12th board exam or equivalent in 2021 or should have passed it in 2020 or 2019 with Physics, mathematics and anyone of - Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology or Technical Vocational Subject.
For detailed information go through
