The MA English course at JNU is one of the most popular courses at JNU. Though the MA English course seats are very few at JNU despite that thousands apply for the course. The School offers BA (Hons.), MA and MPhil/PhD programmes in foreign languages like Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Persian, Russian and Spanish. see some  of the schools of higher secondary at west bengal under wbchse offers english version classes for students in 10+2 course. so at the starting of 11th you may take english version to complete you 12th course. another option is you have to remember the english terms and frequently check for questions and try to solve mcqs from the books like arihant or tata macgraw. it will be not easy and takes time. so if you are currently studying 8 hours per day, you have to give extra effort and take 2-3 hours more to study.

I Suggest to follow any standard books and make a routine for daily work and studies.

If you are looking for Gujarat state counseling then then it won't be a problem, as it is in your native language.

But if you are looking for admission in other states through All India counseling then it may create a problem. General language preferred are Hindi and English in most of the states.

You haven't mentioned the name of the university entrance test for which you're appearing, if the medium of the paper is bilingual as in English/Hindi, then you can choose to answer in language as per your preference, since you haven't mentioned the name it's difficult to provide you any detailed information for the same, you can check out the official notification  of the concerned university regarding this

It doesn't offer BA Hons English, if you're interested to apply for BA Hons in Japanese then you are required to pass 10+2 from a recognized board securing 45% aggregate, appearing candidates too are eligible to apply.

Online registration for undergraduate courses for this year is likely to commence in online mode at the official website  from 1st August, admission will be done through entrance test conducted by the university,
