The job oppurtunities for B.Tech in agricultural engineering at TNAU are not that good. There are no internships oppurtunities for them. Around 55% of the students from the last batch got placed and the salaries which were offered ranges from Rs . 20,000 per month to 25,000. Biocon and a few other MNC's offer jobs for us.

What is the Gate cutoff for the DTU for general category for civil engineering and environmental engineering?

For admission in DTU in general category in civil engineering and environmental engineering the marks in gate exam should be between 45 to 60 . if the marks are between this range then the admission is guaranteed in civil engineering and environmental engineering in dtu.

M. Tech. inGeotechnical Engineering is a 2-year full-time post-graduate course divided across 4 semesters and the eligibility criteria for this course is that a candidate should have a B.E or B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university with 60% marks.
M. Tech. Environmental Engineering is a 2-year full-time post-graduate course divided across 4 semesters and the eligibility criteria for this course is that a candidate should have B.E or B.tech degree in any stream with 60% marks from a recognized university.
You can get admission through GATE or any state PG state entrance exam.Many universities conduct their own entrance exam for admission.

Unfortunately no..For doing M.Tech in Environmental engineering, the eligibility criteria requires a candidate to have a 4 year B.E or B.tech degree in Environmental Engineering or any other engineering degree with 60% aggregate marks from any recognized university..

Ultimately environmental engineering is the branch of civil engineering and the BTech in environmental engineering is four year program basically the cutoff for it depends upon the university in which you are going to take admission but for that you need to pass your class 12th with minimum aggregate percentage decided by the University and majority of University take admission through their entrance exam basically the national level entrance exam is JEE mains and for IIT you will have to crack JEE advanced for more details refer the given link:

environmental engineering colleges in mumbai fees limit 1lakh to 3 lakh
Indian Institute of Technology Bombay is the only college in mumbai that offers B.Tech in environmental engineering course and you can get into this college through first clearing JEE mains and then JEE advance.But the fees is quite high whuch us around 8-10 lakhs for the course.
